In a grand celebration of Mentholatum 135 years anniversary, Rohto-Mentholatum (M) Sdn Bhd, in partnership with Watsons Malaysia, marked this significant milestone by contributing RM135,000 to 10 charity homes across the country. This generous donation is part of the company's ongoing ‘Sending Love & Care’ Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) campaign, demonstrating its commitment to giving back to communities in need.
To commemorate its 135th anniversary, Rohto-Mentholatum expanded the campaign to include children’s homes and elderly care centers, extending its mission of compassion to even more vulnerable groups.
Proceeds from the sales of selected Rohto-Mentholatum products at Watsons stores nationwide throughout October 2024 contributed to this RM135,000 donation. The funds were used to provide essential items of the 10 charity homes.

The 10 charity homes, which collectively care for approximately 1,000 residents, include:
• Orphanages: Rumah Hope, Petaling Jaya; SHELTER, Petaling Jaya; Rumah KIDS, Subang Jaya; Pertubuhan Rumah Amal Cahaya Tengku Ampuan Rahimah (RACTAR), Subang Jaya, and Rumah Aman, Sungai Buloh.
• Women’s Shelter: Rumah Kita, Kuala Lumpur.
• Elderly Care Home: Pusat Jagaan Al-Fikrah Malaysia, Kajang.
• Welfare and Care Homes: Ti-Ratana Welfare Society, Petaling Jaya; Pusat Penjagaan Kanak-kanak Cacat Taman Megah (PPKKCTM), Petaling Jaya and Rumah Charis, Kuala Lumpur.
Beyond financial aid, Rohto-Mentholatum employees visited these homes, engaging in heartwarming activities with the residents. From games to conversations, the interactions were designed to bring joy and create lasting connections with the community.
"Our time with the residents reminded us that while monetary support is critical, personal connection and care are just as vital. We hope that through this initiative, we were able to bring smiles and create a meaningful impact in their lives,” added Lim.
