The rest of the international acts and local line-up will be announced in due course. Each day of the festival will see at least 4 international acts on stage feeding the audience with an unforgettable musical experience.
In his welcome address, KLWP Project Director Faizal Baba, spoke about the major differences between the first two editions and their latest incarnation.
“KLWP 3.0 will not only be held outdoors, but at a larger venue to ensure a more festival like atmosphere. It is expected to draw at least 10,000 revelers over the two days. It will feature not one but two stages - the Main Stage which will feature the 8 international acts and 6 local acts and the supplementary Orizon Stage, which will feature a total of 13 local acts,” expressed Faizal.
“We not only intend to make KLWP a musically engaging festival, we aim to make it a visually invigorating experience for all attendees. That’s why we will be featuring for the first time in the world, the newly launched 120 Watt laser which can project up to 5km. Three of these new lasers will accompany sixteen 40 Watt & four 15 Watt lasers to create a spectacular never seen before light show at KLWP 3.0,” beamed Faizal.
“Also presenting their live Psychedelic show featuring a combination of four genres - Rawstyle, Uptempo , Hard Tech , Raw Kick - for the very first time in Asia will be the incredible Sub Zero Project. We are also pleased to present for the very first time, the very much in demand Russian sosial media sensations Zapravka, performing for the very first time outside of their home country,” enlightened a delighted Faizal.
Faizal promises to ensure that KLWP will continue to maintain its “no social ills” policy as described by a notable news broadcaster and to provide an enjoyable and safe environment for all dance music fans.
“We are privileged once again to have some of the best deejay-producers in the world gracing our shores at an even bigger and more festival-like venue, and to continue entertaining Malaysian and regional party-goers in a safe and conducive environment,”chirped in Leo Global Link’s CEO Dato' Muthalagan enthusiastically.
Dato’ Muthalagan also stressed that all necessary permits to conduct the event successfully has already been secured including from the police, local councils and Puspal to ensure that KLWP 3.0 will be run without any hiccups.
