Express Beauty Bar offers express beauty services in KL Sentral

Wanting to get ready and look my best for New Year, I headed over to Express Beauty Bar at NuSentral, KL... 

I was introduced to Express Beauty Bar by a friend who said I needed to check the place out... 

For your information, Express Beauty Bar is a beauty salon located in NU Sentral Shopping Mall, Kuala Lumpur, that specializes in facial treatment, hand & foot care, eyebrow embroidery, hair removal, Pico laser treatment, etc.

Express Beauty Bar is small but it definitely was comfy and cosy and came with great service, so all you needed to do was just check in and get your treatment /pampering done... 

For this visit, I had a Led Light Therapy Treatment Facial done as well as a Permanent Hair Removal treatment done for my arm pits since I was feeling the hair growth there was kinda rough... 

Ginny, who was my therapist was very friendly, professional and got me through my treatments in a breeze.... 

Before the treatment, you will be given a locker to keep your things and a lovely mini foot spa.... 

Then you can get changed into a towel sarong which is comfortable and convenient.... 

The Led Light Therapy Treatment Facial took about 80mins and is priced at RM398... 

This is a painless (yup, no pain at all except during some extraction),  relaxing, non-invasive and does not cause burning skin treatment. Light therapy uses four clinically proven wavelengths of UV- FREE led lights that helps boost collagen production and treat existing acne....

Therefore, the treatment also safe for all types of skin... My skin had some sun burns, having been exposed to the sun for a few days in a row from my travels and was also showing signs of fatigue as well as aging, so Ginny suggested I try this treatment... 

First, Ginny cleansed my face with a gentle cleanser, and then she used some toner... Products used are imported from Paris... 

Then aqua peel treatment is used as   cleansing, exfoliation, extraction, hydration and antioxidant protection simultaneously, resulting in clearer, and more radiant skin with no discomfort or downtime. The treatment is soothing, moisturizing, non-invasive and non- irritating.... 

After the aqua peel, Ginny got down to extracting the stubborn white heads and blackheads she found....

Then she applied a soothing mask on my face... And airbrushed my face with oxygen... Which was like sooo cooling.... 

Ginny then gave me a face relaxing massage followed by a nice shoulder massage.... And another treatment mask before the turned on the led light machine on my masked face..., final care... She used the Blue Led light which helps sooth any  inflammation & calm my skin... 

Besides the blue light, there are another 4 light colours and functions which are.... 

Red light - anti-aging &promotes collagen production

Yellow light - stimulates the lymphatic system ,reduce melanin production

Green light - balance colour pigment ,reduce fine lines

The Led Light Therapy Treatment Facial definitely left my face more fresh, refreshed, well moisturized and fairer... 

Then we proceeded to do the Permanent Hair Removal treatment which used the laser machine... 

This treatment is ideal for those who are tired of shaving and waxing their underarms... Because, whether you choose to shave every day or wax every few weeks, removing underarm hair can be pretty time-consuming....

Laser hair removal is a good way to get rid of unwanted hair for good as Laser hair removal can give you longer-lasting results, though not permanent....

Laser hair removal is actually quite easy, despite its state-of-the-art appearance. Lasers send pulses of light energy deep into the skin, where our hair follicles are then destroyed... And because of that the hair cannot grow back... 

The hair grows in three stages – the active growth stage, the transition stage, and the resting stage. Laser hair removal is only effective when the hair is growing. The laser cannot damage the root of the hair that is transitioning or resting.

Several treatment sessions over a series of weeks are necessary to ensure laser hair removal is effective and targets the growth phase permanently... 

My underarm laser hair removal was totally painless and super fast, it was over in less then 10 minutes.... 

Ginny however warned me on what I  need to do (and avoid) after the laser hair removal from my underarms... 

Sun exposure should be avoided after the treatment. In spite of the fact that your underarms don’t get a lot of sun, you should limit your exposure to the sun before, during, and after treatment (for up to six weeks). This includes the natural and artificial sun (like tanning beds), both can cause the skin to lighten in that area.... 

It is recommended that we wear loose cotton clothing after the laser treatment and we should also avoid swimming pools, Jacuzzis, steam rooms, and physical activity for up to 48 hours
