Government has declared that these measures will take place between 18 to 31 March:
1. Large gatherings/events are forbidden... So please don't have any parties, or family gatherings of any sort... Family gathering of less then 5 or 10 is ok... Not the whole clan or kampung..
2. Only supermarkets and grocery stores are allowed to open - yaay to this as we are still allowed to go get some snacks or food to comfort us during this partial lockdown period...

3. No traveling abroad for Malaysians - stay put until we can clear this coronavirus....
4. No travelers allowed to enter Malaysia - yup.. As much as we welcome visitors to Malaysia Truly Asia... Now is so not the time to travel or visit us...
5. Closure of all education institutions - my daughter should be happy but she wasn't thst thrilled... Lol
6. Closure of all government and private institutions except essential services
1. All companies and government to *CLOSE* unless you are part of the essential service.
2. Effective 18th March u still can go out from your house, this is NOT a full lockdown. U can go out to work at all the if you work at essential services places or if you don't work there, you can go and use the service... Banking, get your meds, your groceries etc...
3. Restaurants are NOT to serve customers but can open for DELIVERY SERVICES.
But if your restaurant DO NOT have delivery services, You are NOT ALLOWED to open.
Restaurants CANNOT serve dine in customers. Hurrah for foodpanda and grabfood at times like this...
4. You can still drop by your office, but you are not suppose to work with colleagues as the purpose of this Partial Lockdown is to ensure no spread of Virus.
5. You are NOT ALLOWED to travel outstation or in the highways from 18th March to stop the spread of the Virus... So please stay put where you are unless there is a family emergency or something.. We do not want to spread this virus to the even more vulnerable old folks in the kampung area do we...
6. You can still go out jogging, hiking, exercise but AVOID close contact with others... Hurrah for that... At least we can do some exercise and fresh air is always good for us... But avoid other people, now is soo not the time to be socialising...
7. Supermarkets, marts, will be open. Staff in this places are allowed to go to work. And you can go as customers. Again try avoiding crowds and wear a mask, most especially if you have a flu or sneezing or coughing in any way... Or bring a hankerchief to cover your mouth for heaven's sake...
8. Since this is NOT a full lockdown, you do not need to worry about essential staff travelling to work. They can still travel as long as not outstation.
9. No public weddings, small scale funerals... Sorry.. This is the time to save a lot of money on your wedding or if you must have a grand one then wait until next month...
NO RELIGIOUS ACTIVITIES, including No Friday Prayers. All religious activities are totally banned.
10. Transportation of essential goods still allowed.
11. If you are part of condo management, you are suppose to close BUT if it effects the water and electricity then you are considered essential staff.
12. All teaching places related to education are to be closed. All exams postponed, students are NOT ALLOWED to go out and all the centres to close till 31st March.
