Summer Makeover at Sunway Putra Mall

 Was over at the Sunway Putra Mall recently where they organized a Summer Makeover at the Main Concourse....

 It was a makeup tutorial conducted by Sunway Putra Mall's beauty tenants; M·A·C. Cosmetics and Sasa... 

It was definitely exciting as talented makeup artists from both beauty brands were invited to demonstrate step by step tutorial to achieve a glam look this Raya...

Those who were present definitely got to bring back valuable makeup tips, tricks, styles and techniques learnt there...

Models for the makeover sessions were Tasnim Shah and Emma Shazleen. Tasnim Shah is a young hijab model and a make-up entrepreneur that stuns her followers on Instagram with her OOTDs and styling tips while Emma Shazleen is a stylish young mother of three who has strong passion for fashion, beauty and she enjoys sharing about fashion runways and style on Instagram...

I got to meet and see Tasnim get her makeover... 

Then we were treated to a Fashion Show by local fashion designers; Salikin Sidek and QieRahman... Each designer presented their exclusive version of Raya collection to the shoppers. Tailored baju kurung, baju kebaya and baju Melayu were showcased during the fashion show...

And... boy... were they just sooo amazing.. if I had a thick wallet or credit cards, I would so go get myself some of the designs already... 

Anyway, you can check out the designers’ booths; Salikin Sidek, QieRahman, Bohari KL and Natasha Ameer all which are located at the Main Concourse. There is also a Marrakesh Bazaar located at the East Wing, offering handmade batik, assorted delights, gift hampers and accessories specially brought in by Kraftangan Malaysia...

 Look out for Flower Market at the West Wing selling a wide range of fresh flowers and home decorations at SSF Home, Level 5. 

Apart from that, beauty tenants such as M·A·C Cosmetics, Sasa, Inglot, Tony Moly, The Face Shop, The Body Shop and Neal’s Yard Remedies have great products to make you look flawless this Raya. For those with Hijab, check out A-Saloon+ as they have a private room for the Muslims. Shoppers may also get their hair done at Tezzer Saloon.

Sunway Putra Mall welcomes shoppers with a stunning and vibrant Moroccan-inspired campaign called ‘Summer Sama Raya’ – Raya in the summer of bright hues from 18 May to 20 June. The Main Concourse is transformed into a dazzling Moroccan Souk where shopper will find a rather unique shopping experience as they are surrounded by lively decorations and almost everything Moroccan— from the interior courtyards, wooden doors, floral arabesques, vibrant stained glass lamps, and even life-sized camels. Shoppers will also have the opportunity to walk through the Artsy Rooms as these rooms are inspired by creative themes that complement the Raya festive décor and an ideal spot to snap Insta-worthy selfies.

To add to the merriment of this festive season, visitors will be entertained with an array of performances varying from musical performance, to traditional arts and crafts workshop by Kraftangan Malaysia. Additionally, in collaboration with Astro, fans gets to enjoy meet and greet sessions with Malaysian celebrities at ‘Sama-Sama Raya Bersama Astro’ event such as Chef Wan, Zarul Husin, Tajul, Zara Zya, Hafreez Adam, Mohd Sabri Yunus and more every Saturday starting from 3pm and participate in the array of activities offered. Not to be missed the one of-its-kind ‘Ketupat Drop’ where exciting goodies and vouchers are up for grabs!

Moreover, various F&B outlets in the mall will be offering bountiful selections of buffet and set meals throughout Ramadhan. Popular amongst the crowd are Sepiring, Onde-Onde and Narenj and many more. Diners who spend a minimum of RM30 in a single receipt at any F&B outlets, get to redeem RM5 Selera Street Cash Dollars too!
