Flowers from FLORESTA for my birthday...

I am a woman and well, I daresay 99.9 percent of women love flowers and of course, receiving them, that is unless she is somehow unfortunately allergic to them…

There is something about the subtle fragrance, the colors, the flower arrangement designs that can change the chemistry of our brain and make us feel happy or better when we receive flower…

I kid you not, so men, if you have had a huge argument with your fiancé, wife, that special one or even your mom, take note… there has been a study showing that women who received flowers became happy or feel better instantly. Ok, they might not forgive you right on the spot but believe me, their anger or frustration would have lessen down a lot...

Ladies, if you are feeling down, rather than ruining your diet or cholesterol levels with ice cream or chocolates, just head to the garden or your nearest florist for a pretty bouquet. Nothing wrong with treating yourself to a lovely bouquet of flowers every once in a while too…

Now, you know the reason why flowers are considered as great gifts for any occasion.

Like I mentioned above, I loved flowers but sadly, my husband is not one of those romantic types who will gift them to me. I have never received any flowers from him… he is more likely to buy me a practical gift such as a ring, a bag, a watch, but not flowers…

So I was kind of bemoaning my fate on the eve of my birthday, ok… stop it Miera, being over dramatic again… I was indulging myself in some me time at the lovely Hotel Stripes KL when I got a PM from Jen from Floresta Floral & Gift asking me where I was… and so I told her, feeling a little perked up at the idea of getting a couple of flowers or so…

Barely an hour later, Jen turned up at the hotel with a huge bunch of flower arrangement in shades of pastel pink, lilac and cream.
