I am a borderline plus sized… which means I am not quite
plus sized or too huge, but not quite petite and slender as well… well, in
terms of UK sizes, I wear a size 14…and living in a country like Malaysia, or rather in South East Asia, it
is pretty difficult looking for affordably priced plus sized clothing, since everyone takes for granted Asian women should be petite and tiny… And so, when you
step into most malls or departmental stores, you can easily find an XS, S, M, L….
sometimes if you are lucky, an XL… and
it can be frustrating…
So normally nowadays if I am looking for some clothing, I have
to resort to going to Debenhams, Marks and Spencer for plus sized clothing and then I will be cringing
in dismay… and its not because of the clothing… the clothing are admittedly
gorgeous… but the price tag, with our current currency exchange, the gap of the
currency is even so much more and a simple blouse or dress can cost over a hundred ringgit to a
few hundred ringgit…. If I were earning a five figure income, that would not be
a problem, but sadly, I am just earning enough to feed my family and pay the
bills ….
Fortunately, now, when you search online, you can now come
across a few pretty good plus size apparel stores now… and one of them is MIS

online store and it did not even have my size, and it was retailing for about
RM250…. And guess what… I found a similar looking one which is the Rozana Jubah from the Raya Garland Collection, which was in 2XL
for just RM100, at MIS CLAIRE, of course……. A-M-A-Z-I-N-G… and I am such a happy girl...
