It began with a mini showcase where two lovely models showed off some of Ilaria's collection...

It was a unique session where some of Malaysia's top designers were also invited to join in a small competition where they were given 20 minutes to think and design a jewelry design…

Being thick faced/shameless at times, I asked if I could join, since I saw another blogger friend beginning to sketch, and I did not actually see who the people around me- they are actually very renowned local Malaysian fashion designers..… hah.. me.. a nobody trying to design a jewelry, David against Goliath… and was given a pencil and an art paper.. So I got down to sketching but was somewhat disappointed with my messy sketching…

I actually sketched out a sketch for necklace and a wrap around ring and bracelet with sparkling feathers for my inspiration.. thinking of wet feathers of a bird that sparkles in the sunlight… but because of the messy sketch, I definitely did not expect to be selected..
