Celebrate Dr. Ko Skin Specialist Founder’s Day 2017

Dr KO Founder’s Day returns for a second year and yours truly was over at Le Midi to get the details... 

Starting from March 24 to April 30, 2017, Dr. Ko Skin Specialist and Dr. Ko clinics will be celebrating the KO Founder’s Day with the less privileged in mind while rewarding loyal patients with great deals.

With that being said, every transaction at Dr. Ko Skin Specialist and Dr. Ko clinics, Dr. Ko will donate RM1 to a charity of choice.

While I believe each person is capable of improving his life, there are still underprivileged groups in the society who need assistance and care. Let’s contribute to a better world,” said Dato Dr. Ko Chung Beng.

Did you know,in his 19 years of outstanding contribution to the skin and aesthetic industry in Malaysia, Dato Dr. Ko has also been offering free treatment to poor fire victims referred by government hospitals. He has graciously waived their bills and even covered their transportation costs. What a generous doctor, right....

Dr KO Founder’s Day was therefore introduced as an annual event to champion a noble cause, with a different choice of charity each year.

Last year, Dato Dr. Ko donated RM27, 000 to Beautiful Gate Foundation for the Disabled. 

Dato Dr. Ko is hoping to contribute RM50, 000 to Persatuan Ibu Bapa dan Anak-Anak Sakit Kanser Malaysia this year and so this year's KO Founder's Day is co-organised with Make A Wish Creations - an organisation which grants wishes to children who are down with life-threatening ailments - and Le Midi, a French Italian restaurant.

  

Having spent 17 years in United Kingdom to obtain his specialist qualifications and worked as a dermatologist, Dato Dr. Ko returned to Malaysia in 1994. He then headed the Dermatology Department of Seremban Hospital until 1997.

The 1997 version of Dr. Ko Skin Specialist is a little clinic located on the first floor of a shop lot in Klang, Selangor. At present, the little clinic has transformed into the headquarters for all 30 divisions of Dr. Ko Skin Specialist and Dr. Ko clinics across the country.
