Jackie Chan leads KUNG FU YOGA cast to Kuala Lumpur

When I first heard about Kung Fu Yoga, I was wondering what kind of movie it was that had Chinese actors and even Hindustani actors in it... and I wondered what kind of movie it was... that was of course, before even watching the trailer..but once I did watch the trailer, I knew I had to watch this movie...

Thanks to GSC, I got to watch the movie early in the media preview and it blew me away...it was a movie with elements of adventure - the Indiana Jones style way, action packed, comedy and music of course....and yes, your fair share of gorgeous ladies from the goddess of yoga Muqimiya to the

gorgeous Bollywood actresses Disha Patani and Amyra Dastur, and well, there are eye candy for the ladies to in the shape of Chinese actors Lay Zhang, who is also a member of EXO and also Aarif Rahman and the tall dark handsome villian Sonu Sood... and of course, not forgetting Jackie Chan's amazing kung fu moves and oh... some pretty unforgettable animals... hahaha

The story begins when a beautiful Indian professor Ashmita heads to Xi'An to find Chinese archaeology professor Jack to help find some lost Magadha treasure with a very old map she has with her with their team. 

Jack then enlist the help of treasure hunter Jones, a son of his old friend.. 

They then head to Tibet where they find the remains of the royal army that had vanished together with the treasure in an ice cave, but they were then ambushed by Randall, the descendent of a rebel army leader and his group of mercenaries. 

In the struggle to get away and avoid being trapped in the ice cave, Jones runs away with a rare diamond he finds in the cave, leaving everyone else behind...

When they free themselves, their next stop is Dubai where the diamond from the ice cave is to be auctioned by an unrepentant Jones. 

After a series of double-crosses and revelations about their past, Jack and his team travel to a mountain temple in India, using the diamond as a key to unlock the real treasure.

What happens next? Can Jack and his team find the treasure before Randall? Who is Ashmita?

The movie will also leave you amazed with its spectacular sites around the world including the ice caves of Iceland, the sandy desert of Abu Dhabi and the charmingly mysterious India. It also takes audiences on an exhilarating ride with superb action and fight sequences, car chase, and even hyenas attack, camel race and not forgetting the scene in the 4WD with the lion, Little Jackie... hehehe

Anyway, I was also at the Majestic Hotel Kuala Lumpur where Oscar Honorary Award winner Jackie Chan led some of his co-stars from Kung Fu Yoga to Kuala Lumpur recently.... 

They made their trip in a private jet across Asia with stops in Singapore, Kuala Lumpur, Bangkok, Mumbai and Abu Dhabi, the entourage comprising of Jackie Chan and his lovely Bollywood co-stars Disha Patani and Amyra Dastur, 

 ....China’s most beautiful yoga instructor Muqimiya and long-time director partner Stanley Tong for a one-day promotional tour.

It was Jackie Chan’s first movie appearance in Malaysia after receiving his Oscar Honorary Award last November in Los Angeles

Jackie Chan’s Kung Fu Yoga reunites him with long-time director partner Stanley Tong who is well known with his movies Supercop and Rumble in the Bronx. Similar to CZ12, audience will once again experience Jackie Chan’s signature action comedy in Kung Fu Yoga, and make it the perfect movie for the festive season, for young and old alike, and across the races. Kung Fu Yoga opens in cinemas nationwide on 27 January, with sneak shows available a day before.
