TGV CINEMA WITH THE LARGEST IMAX SCREEN IN MALAYSIA OPENS AT SUNWAY VELOCITY MALL

Growing up with the Star Wars movie franchise made me inevitably a fan, maybe not a super duper fanatic fan, but a big fan, nevertheless.... so when I received an invitation for TGV Cinemas Sdn Bhd (TGV)  launching of its newest multiplex, at the new Sunway Velocity mall, I was so very thrilled...

  The new TGV Cinemas in the Sunway Velocity mall happens to be housing Malaysia’s largest IMAX screen; and the first apportioned with luxury Indulge seats. 

However, that was not all about my excitement as the launch of this state-of-the-art multiplex was jointly celebrated with the premiere screening of Rogue One: A Star Wars Story in IMAX 3D, the world’s most immersive, premium large format cinema. So you can imagine my euphoria at that moment was sky high ....

The 9-hall multiplex cinema accomodate up to 1,638 people and the amazing IMAX hall has 287 seats, 40 of which are Indulge seats. The IMAX hall apportionment, the first in the country, gives movie-lovers the opportunity to experience the magic of IMAX with TGV Indulge’s luxury hospitality. How can it be more amazing...

Members of the media and invited guests at the launch of the KL multiplex were given an unforgettable welcome into the rich and imaginative world of cinema. 

There was a pop-up tavern inspired by the infamous Tatooine Mos Eisley Cantina and even a surrealistic band right out from Star Wars and waiters decked out in imperial uniforms.... I could almost believe I was transported to Tatooine or somewhere in space...

Of course, our surprise did not end there when suddenly we were in the presence of Lord Vader and his men....

So there you have it, do not just go watch a movie.. if you can afford it, splurge a little, immerse yourself and be a part of the movie with the new IMAX cinema at TGV Sunway Velocity... the feeling is surreal and amazing...

Not to worry, as TGV Sunway Velocity will be continuously host opening celebrations on weekends from 15 Dec to 31 Dec 2016.
