I was one of the few invited guests who got to witness Whoosh Eyewear's 1st annual Miss Whoosh Glamorous
event.
The event which was held at The Curve Shopping Mall (the official venue sponsor) is a supplementary
title to the Miss Tourism Queen of the Year International 2016.
“Fast. Fresh. Forward” are the words that perfectly describe the creation of Whoosh, a sister brand of Focus Point.
Whoosh
eyewear is dedicated to trendsetters who value style, quality, and professional advice on-the-go.
Whoosh offers a wide range of fashionable frames all the way from Korea, categorised
under 3 distinctive styles - TRENDY, URBAN and VINTAGE at four fixed affordable
prices with no hidden fees or fine-print charges.
I think the most impressive thing about Whoosh is that it allows you to collect
your eyewear in as little as 30 minutes via efficient “Choose, Check and Collect” modus
operandi.
Glasses nowadays are not just for correcting one's sight but it is treated as a fashion accessory as they can actually spice up one’s outfit and style.
Whoosh Eyewear unveiled an impressive 80 pairs of latest trendy glasses and sunglasses – all perfect to suit any appearance and
styles at the Miss Whoosh Glamorous event showcased by Miss Tourism International World
Pageant – a symbol of style, beauty and confidence- dovetailing the brand’s persona.
The 54 beautiful beauty queens from around the world strode down the runway in gorgeous cocktail outfits and Whoosh’s latest eyewear collection attracting everyone's attention....
After much deliberation, Miss Mexico was the one that caught the judges eyes and she walked away with the much-coveted title of Miss Whoosh Glamorous.
Among the panel of judges for this year’s event were the Managing Director & Group CEO
of PKT Logistics Group Sdn Bhd Dato Michael Tio, CEO and Creative Director of A Cut
Above Datin Winnie Loo, Miss Malaysia Queen of Tourism 1996 Miss Zoee Tan and Miss
Malaysia Tourism Queen 2004 Miss Lavence Lim.
After the main event, attendees were invited to celebrate the highlights of the day at the
Whoosh outlet and enjoy light Christmas treats, courtesy of the Japanese bakery Komugi.
