Happy New Year 2017

An hour plus more to 2017... 

It's been a roller coaster ride of 2016, some great memories and some not so good... but there are always lessons learnt when bad things occur or happen so it isn't all that bad...

2016 has been pretty awesome considering I got the opportunity to meet some of my favorite Hong Kong, Taiwan and even Korean actors/ celebrities up close....

And of course, had a few amazing life experiences... such as sitting at the ledge at the KL Tower...

getting on a helicopter ride....and the latest, dining in the sky -  45 metres above the ground...

I love traveling and in 2016, I had the opportunity to travel to Seoul, Korea with both my girls, and then to Singapore with my younger daughter.. and of course, this was peppered with some local trips to JB, Ipoh and so on... hopefully in 2017 I will get the opportunity to travel more...

I already do have plans to go to Osaka, Japan in March and perhaps Bali in February, if the travel company who promised me the trip falls through.... I do so want to travel to many other places... but well, see how things goes...

Need to plan for Osaka first, as it is an expensive trip I am not quite well prepared because of finances.. and I do so want to experience lots of expensive things... Kyoto by Shinkansen and Universal Studio Osaka and of course Hogwarts...

As for new year resolutions goes... travel is on top of my list... followed by hoping to get more paid jobs, slimming down - a near impossible thing since I do love good food and it is hard to resist hahaha... but well, get more active - hahaha.... walkathons, fun runs, etc... and am of course looking forward to all that 2017 has in store for me....

At the same time, I need to work on my patience when it comes to family members and friends....and be more tolerating and understanding without being a pushover though.... hahaha

OK.... anyway to everyone who bothers to take the time to read my blogs.... thank you so very much for your support all this while ... and HAPPY NEW YEAR 2017

Got this funny Manglish/ Singlish poem from friends on WhatsApp and cannot resist sharing it... I edited it and changed it a bit though....

Christmas came and went quickly,

The time we bought presents for everybody,

Smile and wear the red topi,

Had big makan, feel happy.

After Christmas, New year is now making entry,

Resolve to lose weight, look pretty,

But then friends call to go party,

Continue eat, drink and take selfie.

Back to work in January,

Still holiday mood after festivity,

Do everything also lazy,

Better add oil before boss get angry.

Got to full steam finally,

Then come Gong Xi Gong Xi,

Holiday mood datang lagi,

So tempted to take MC.

Time to makan cake and cookie,

Also must give angpau money,

Dinner with friends and family,

Eat yee sang until diarrhea mari.

First day of work in February,

Put on office skirt bright and early,

Eh, why skirt so ketat suddenly,

Pretend it shrunk after washing repeatedly.

Stop by ATM because purse empty,

Account balance what a sob story,

After all the makan, duit habis already,

All the prosperity transferred to body!
