Movie Premiere night of Rudy Habibie (Habibie & Ainun 2)

After having sneaked peek the movie Rudy Habibie. See here: http://www.mieranadhirah.com/2016/07/movie-review-rudy-habibie-habibie-ainun.html , I was of course delighted to be invited to the movie premiere night which was held at TGV 1 Utama,...

along with the presence of the main characters, Reza Rahadian who plays Rudy Habibie; Chelsea Islan who plays Rudy's love interest, Ilona Ianovska; Indah Permatasari who plays the princess from Solo, one of Rudy's close friends and who was in love with him (and was jealous of his relationship with Ilona), Ayu and of course, the movie producer, Manoj Punjabi....

Rudy Habibie is a story of finding one's soul mate, and also a story of finding one's first love and last love... it is a story about Indonesia's third President and his wife... and a story of Habibie and Ainun.... (ok.. obviously in this case Ilona is his first love, but not the love of his life... hahah)

Some facts: BJ Habibie, short for Bacharuddin Jusuf Habibie aka Rudy Habibie was born on the 25th June 1936.. He was an Indonesian engineer who became the President of Indonesia from 1998 to 1999. He succeeded Suharto who resigned in 1998. Despite being a President for just on ear, his presidency was seen as a transition to the post-Suharto era as he liberalized Indonesia's press and political party laws, and held an early democratic election in 1999 which unfortunately resulted in the end of his presidency.

This is however his story of his love for his country and how he gave up his first love for his country...

It is a good story, and there were many sad parts in the movie that set the people next to be (both on my left and right) dabbing their eyes...

I definitely recommend it... the soundtrack of the movie is also very catchy and nice, though I do not think we will be singing it all the time or our government might just send us off to Indonesia... LOL

And well... yours truly is one who won't let go of an opportunity if it comes along.. and so, here are some selfies with the people who made the movie a success.... this is a selfie with the producer of the movie, Manoj Punjabi....

The movie will be in cinema's this Thursday onwards... 4th of August 2016, so don't forget to watch it... If you were to ask me, I would rate it a 4.5/5 stars.....
