Early Merdeka(Independence Day) morning, my girls and I were up and we took the LRT to Masjid Jamek and walked the short distance it was to Dataran Merdeka, but even at 7 am, the place was thronging with hundreds or thousands of people who were all up and about with the same mindset my girls and I had... wanting to celebrate Merdeka there..

 

I was hoping to find myself a spot near the media place but I did not even know where it was and the crowd was just building even despite the slight drizzle there was...

Nothing turns me off more then a man who smells and reek of body odor... Being a human woman, my eyes get attracted by the many good looking dudes out there... ya, ya, before you start to preach, I (sedar diri) know I am already nearly middle age and I maybe married but, heck, I am not blind or dead ok, and I still love some eye candy whenever I see them... hahahaha

But... no matter how good looking that guy may be, if he has a body odor, I will certainly avoid him at all cost... do not put me in the same room with this kind of guys!!!!

Fun at the AK Balloon Run 3.0

Yours truly and her mini me was among a total of  2,000 runners,that took part in Kuala Lumpur’s only balloon run organized by Avenue K shopping mall. The 5 and 7 kilometre fun run took place in the vicinity of the trendy new shopping mall along a scenic route within the city centre mainly via Jalan Pinang, Jalan Binjai and Jalan Mayang.

Close friends and family members would know one of my own pet peeves about my own body would be my very short eyelashes. I am often envious of other people’s long lovely lashes, even my own daughters whereas I have seriously stunted eyelashes.

Last week, yours truly was at the Chakri Palace Pavilion for some pampering and indulgence thanks to their kind invitation... We were treated to a most scrumptious dinner, one of the best, in my opinion, and yes, I may be biased because I can never resist good Thai food and in my personal opinion, Chakri Palace serves some of the best Thai food around...

This was m very first time in Chakri Palace Pavilion, as most of the time I always visited Chakri Palace in KLCC.. The outlet here in Pavilion is smaller then the outlet in KLCC.

It would be ideal for a cosy and intimate dinner for two or a quiet and good dinner with your family and friends...

Anyone who knows me would know I love experimenting with hair colors. I have gone through lightening my hair to almost light brown, to having my hair done in shocking ombre... (yeapp... that was a bit too much for me.. when half of my hair was dark brown and the other half a bright red...), then had my hair done in purple, ok, not that purple,......

And admittedly I love DIY packages since it is much cheaper then getting a saloon to do it for you but not all DIY are easy to use...if you are like me, and love experimenting with hair colours, you will definitely love the new Beautylabo Whip Hair Color....

Making a Basic Cutie at Yenji Clay Craft....

Having been passing by Yenji Clay Craft all these time, at the IPC /Ikea Damansara (located opposite Spotlight and Popular Bookstore on the 2nd floor ) made me curious as to what was going on in there... All I know was that I always admire those gorgeous clay figurines which are all over the place and wonder how on earth could anyone create such a beautiful masterpiece, and well, at the same time I wondered if I could ever create one.....

My chance came when the kind people from Yenji Clay Craft invited me and a few friends to try out crafting a Basic Cutie... I was definitely game for it, given this heaven sent opportunity.....

Review: ABS J18G Power Bank

After using bulky powerbanks and some unbranded powerbanks that did not last as long as they should, I finally got this lovely pastel turquoise coloured ABS J18G power bank.

When I opened the packaging I was half impressed and half worried as it sure was a hell lot slimmer than my other two powerbanks , and especially my daughter’s huge gigantic Pineng powerbank…. I then thought I would just resigned myself to just another one charge powerbank… but well, did I get it wrong...

DA MEN Mall Food Trail Discovery

So yours truly was over at DA MEN Mall a few days ago on a Media Food Trail..The event began with members of the media registering at dal.komm HAUS there . This was sheer irony as I remember my unsuccessful plan to visit a dal.komm outlet in Seoul but sadly did not come across one in the 5 days I was there and I have only been to two dal.komm outlets so far and they are here in Klang Valley....

The Main Place Mall in USJ 21 is organizing the 2^nd ‘The Good Life Walkathon 2016’ event on the 23rd October (Sun) @ 7.30am. 

It's gonna be a whole load of fun with a Halloween theme!!!  I can't wait for it to happen as I know it is just going to be ‘spooky’ fun for families, friends and loved ones. 

Movie Review: Suicide Squad

Yours truly was lucky to be among the first few in Malaysia to watch the Suicide Squad. Having watched the trailer, this was one movie on my must watch list, so I was thrilled when I received the invitation from TGV cinemas....

The Suicide Squad is a team of super villains who has been caught and locked up somewhere... assembled by government official Amanda Waller (Viola Davis) for top-secret black ops missions that are too dangerous for regular soldiers. 

Merapoh Forest Run 2016

So yours truly was at the Concorde Kuala Lumpur where the press conference for the upcoming Merapoh Forest Run 2016 (MFR2016) was held by the Women's Sports and Fitness Foundation Malaysia (WSFFM) on the 3rd of September 2016, so if you have not have anything planned, mark your dates!!!

It is a challenging trail run at Sungai Relau , Merapoh , a 2nd gateway to Taman Negara, which is located in Kuala Lipis, Pahang. It’s about 244km from Kuala Lumpur.

MBO Cinemas is continuing its third annual partnership with St John Ambulance of Malaysia to host a blood donation drive to contribute to the National Blood Centre (PDN). Organisers are hoping to reach the target of 5,000 pints of blood at this event, fondly known as Blood Donation Drive 3.0.

Kordel's Charity Fun Walk 2016

What did you do during the past weekend? As for yours truly, I was over at Padang Merbuk early on Sunday morning at 6 am, well, to get a parking, of course.. hehehe....

It was the day for the Kordel's Charity Fun Walk, the day when the very young and elderly, and everyone in-between will walk to help raise funds for the escalating treatment costs for a silent disease that affects five in 1,000 Malaysians....
