ALTHEA Korea's 1st Birthday Party!!

Everyone's favorite K- Beauty online store turned 1!!! Oh, how time flies... It wasn't that long ago when it just started spreading its wings from Korea to Malaysia, Singapore, Indonesia, Thailand and Philippines....

The birthday bash was held at Ruang in SS18 and it was a fabulous event with Malaysian ALTHEA fans and bloggers attending....Everyone was decked in like 50 shades of pink... making it probably the pinkest party ever...

The eye catching photo booth was the talk of town.. Tammy Lim, head of Althea Korea Malaysia  got the Glitz & Glam's Studiobooth to set up a most amazing giant Althea box concept for fans to pose inside and get a picture taken.

See, I feel like I am popping out of the box myself... hahahah.. this definitely is one of the coolest photo booth set up I have seen!!!

Anyway it was a lot of fun getting together with blogger buddies and taking pictures with them all..

  

The make your own bingsu bar was a hit... They served delicious flavoured shaved ice in a variety of flavours, chocolate, green tea, strawberry and mango... I got strawberry and I added my own ingredients and toppings which included strawberry sauce, marshmallows, strawberry pocky and some coloured hundred and thousands (sugar beads)....there were also crushed nuts and red beans but I am one weird one that is not a fan of those...

Of course, the candy buffet was just simple to die for  with pretty pink doughnuts, swiss rolls, fruit tarts, cupcakes, lollipops, meringues, chocolates, candies, pop corn, iced gem biscuits and so much more....

The cake which was the centrepiece was another gorgeous and irresistible photo opportunity spot...

As well as the gorgeously crafted sugar iced biscuits....which came with Althea's logos, perfume bottles with ribbons and flowers, mirrors, nail polishes, lipstick and so on.....

Everyone had a lot of fun indulging their sweet tooth... for those who wanted something more filling, there were also Korean kimbab served...

Althea's Dave made a great host and Frank Kang, Althea's CEO mesmerized everyone when Dave made him sing a song on stage... Most of us who were waiting for a Korean song were disappointed but  soon had our mouths hanging open when Frank burst into an Italian song acapella without breaking a beat....What a talented man!!!

Frank was a great host and he went around talking to all the guests and even took photos with each other....

Then we had our stressful but fun moment when we were all made to shop online Althea Korea having been given Althea credits of RM150 within the time limit of 30 minutes....Everyone was quite and had their attention all on their smartphones trying to buy their favorite K-Beauty items all in the space of 30 minutes....

The event ended with the popping of balloons... not just any balloons as we were all told to get one of the balloons from behind the stage area which were filled with a piece of paper indicating our lucky draw prize..
