Beauty review: Kji & Co Lip Staysss Dolly Blush

I was given a chance to review the Kji & Co Lip Staysss lip balm and I was delighted. Thinking to go for a hint of colour I got the  Dolly Blush one which was suppose to be the one in between Baby Pink and Seductress... 

The lip balm came in a very floral packaging.. very girly which I took a photo of and discarded, after I put the lip balm into my make up bag but somehow I accidently deleted that photos too... huhuhu... my apologies....

Sometime as humans, we tend to forget ourselves, and begin to be greedy, fussy and even take a lot of things for granted. I know I am also guilty of doing that sometimes too. We never take into consideration how there are so many more people in the world living life with lesser means...and well, this trip I took to Kampung Ulu Geruntum definitely was eye opening...

As a woman, it is always important to upkeep yourself so that you will continually look attractive. I may be a mother of three and a wife, and yes, juggling everything can be draining and time consuming, so much so sometimes, we let ourselves go. 

There are women who after being married for a few years let themselves go, they no longer care about how they look, insisting that their family and job comes first. 

This is a big NO - NO!!! I do not deny that as time goes by, as women, we age, we have babies, things droop, other things grow or stretch.. it is the natural progression of life but, we have to put in more effort to try to balance it up, it is important to keep yourself in shape as much as you can, and well, do not be a slob, but also take time to dress up and make up.....

Movie review : Rudy Habibie (Habibie & Ainun 2)

Rudy Habibie is a 2016 Indonesian drama film directed by Hanung Bramantyo. It is a prequel of Habibie & Ainun and loosely tells the story of the 3rd President of Indonesia, B J Habibie. 

I did not think much of it before I went for the review but when I stepped out of the cinema 2 and a half hours later, I was a fan!!

So yours truly here was over at the Let It Be, A Celebration of the Music of The Beatles which had been organized by AC Music Entertainment, held at the Plenary Hall of the KL Convention Centre over the weekend...

Being born in the 1970s, I grew up on some of the Beatles songs too, since my mom was apparently a fan, after all since The Beatles were some of the most popular band back then. However, most of us have never got to see the legendary “The Beatles” performing LIVE.

And yours truly was there yesterday to join in the fun there was there despite staying at the other side of the city...., well you see, I just took the Putra LRT from Terminal Putra in Gombak with my mini me and we were at the USJ21 LRT station an hour plus later, which is just about 200 metres away. My daughter and I took the covered walkway to the mall...

They came so prettily packaged I was almost reluctant to use it, preferring to stare at it.... but well, curiosity got the better of me and I opened it up to try it finally...

Hello and well, Selamat Hari Raya...before anything else, please allow me, Miera Nadhirah, to take this opportunity to apologise for just about any mistake, or whenever I over react (sometimes to the point of being a diva....duh), and for my shortfalls, speech mistakes, cussing, and well, whatever I as a fallible and imperfect human can have done to hurt anyone's feelings... with or without purpose...

I hope that my setbacks, mistakes and faults can be forgiven...

Drama Series : Doctors

Doctors is a very promising action packed drama which I foresee could be as popular as Descendants of the Sun...It is a drama about life in general, highlighting the social prejudice of origins as well as educational background.

Support rather then just envy.....

As a woman, it is in our DNA to sometimes selfishly compete with one another. And while competition is healthy, it certainly is not when we try to pull the other person down or put the other person down… Competition always happen when it comes to men, friends, attention, recognition , opportunities and even self worth. Things you can actually gain and things you can not gain. So why are women this bad?

As a blogger, there are times something good can happen to you, especially if you are on track and dedicated enough… but well, beware as well as somehow or other one of your other friends or blogger acquaintances finds out about it and starts an issue on why was she not invited/ included etc… Talk about a wet blanket! It could be a paid event, a trip and a lot of other things… And if you let it, your mood probably can switch from happiness to annoyance and irritation.
