So yours truly was at 1 Utama Shopping Centre for a whole interesting and new event.. Hasbro (Malaysia) has put together a TRANSFORMERS brand extravaganza for fans, with different exhibits and activities that promise to bring smiles from the neophytes to even the most avid TRANSFORMERS collectors and hobbyists there at the 1 Utama Shopping
Centre...
I first learn of TRANSFORMERS from having a son, who would focus all his attention on the screen whenever TRANSFORMERS came on the TV... He was indeed a fan... and he got really lucky when my stepson who was about 6 years older then my son gave my son one of the Transformers combiner figure he (my stepson) had owned... and that was ages ago when my son was just about 10 and my stepson 16.. My son is now 20, and still a fan...
Anyway, it was a treat getting to step into a the 'world' of Autobots and Decepticons for a moment a saw all things Transformers there at the roadshow that was on at 1 Utama centre court.
The Transformers series began as a comic
series in the 1980s before evolving into an animated television series that
depicts a war amongst the Autobots and
Decepticons that can transform from robots into vehicles and other objects.
Set
against Cybertron and Earth, the series tells of the Autobots’ continuous
battle against the Decepticons to protect the humans as to the Decepticons humans are nothing but just in the way... The storyline touches on teamwork
and leadership, as showcased by the affinity they have with each other and the
respect they show to their leader.
Hobbyists were seen busy assembling the Transformers complete combiner figure, and it was amazing to see how fast they did it...
There is a Fastest-Fingers Challenge ongoing for kids aged between 8-12 years old to take the challenge to complete and assemble one of these in the shortest time... He/She will stand a chance to win an exclusive Transformers figure worth RM249.90

Transformers' most iconic and popular characters Optimus
Prime and Bumblebee made an appearance at the launch and certainly thrilled all those present there who took the opportunity to scramble for a photo opportunity with the two Autobots...
The limited edition Chevrolet Camaro which is supposedly Bumblebee in car form before he transform into an autobot, featured in the previous TRANSFORMERS movie was unveiled much to the delight of the media and bloggers present and also members of the general public....
The car was believed to be one
out of only five of such vehicles in Malaysia and was left on display for three hours...

consisting of collectors’ and limited edition figures over the course of the entire
event.
