Happy Family Day at The ARC, Bandar Rimbayu

Yours truly was over at the Happy Family Day at The Arc, Bandar Rimbayu by IJM LAND view the Penduline showrooms that were exquisitely furnished by the two finalists of the IJM Land Designer Award 2016.

The two finalist, Goh Sow Yee and Leo Wong Kwan Theng were given the task to transform their interior design concepts into reality and fully furnish the showrooms in Bandar Rimbayu, with an allocated budget of RM150,000 each, provided by Platinum Sponsors Signature Kitchen Sdn Bhd and Urban Culture by Fella Group as well as Gold Sponsors Philips Malaysia Sdn Bhd, Jotun Paints (M) Sdn Bhd and Inovar Resources Sdn Bhd.



Let's take a peek into the first house I went into....this is the gorgeous sitting room area....

My daughter's favourite room.... it is her dream bedroom...LOL

This room is just so perfect for a toddler to a tween...

The master bedroom....this is also the bedroom of my dreams...LOL

So which one would you vote for??!! I voted for..... Shhhh..... it's a secret.....cannot reveal what I voted for lah...

After viewing both equally gorgeous homes with my daughter, we took part in voting for our favourite interior design directly on site, while my husband decided to soak in the scenery and sights while resting his feet.... 

This is to help determine the winner of IJM Land Designer Award 2016, so good luck to both guys….may the best man win… though I have to admit it was a really quite difficult choice since both houses were equally gorgeous…and which I really wish I could live in…

This is the third house I looked into but this is not in the voting contest....

However this house was really very homey as well... 

I could so make myself at home here...

The lounge area on the first floor was a huge delight... and perfect for the wanna be rockstar or a music lover.....

The cool and cozy master bedroom...

This room won my daughter's approval as well... this was the second bedroom she said wished she had after seeing it...

Hubby just decided to relax on the love seat in the hall...

The last but not least... the 4th house.... and I just loved the Summery Marine theme in this bedroom, so vibrant and alive....

This is the lounge area on the first floor of the house... isn't it just so gorgeous and like a cabana by the beach... 

One of the other rooms in the Beach House designed home.. I just love the seaside feeling.. I swear if I live here in this house, I will not be craving a beach holiday that much... this feels like a holiday home...

The slightly more muted beach themed bedrooms for older folks.... though not as vibrant, they throw out a relaxing and calming vibe and feeling....great to unwind and snooze...

The other two houses by the side which were lovingly decorated were just as gorgeous... and I especially loved the Beach House theme...

The Penduline is a collection of Double Storey Link Homes that are built with different families in mind. The well-designed floor plans ensure each and every member of your family will have a comfortable and private space to lay claim on. It is definitely a place where you call home, and where your heart will reside…

It was to celebrate the finalisation of the showrooms that the Happy Family Day at Bandar Rimbayu was organized… 

  

The  Happy Family Day definitely offered a wide range of fun activities to entertain everyone, there was surely something for everyone who was there…including a very immersive 5D cinema that turns the magic of short movies into a living reality by making use of 6 motion hydraulic chairs and incorporating all our senses by including special effects like vibration, fog, bubbles, thunder storms, snow or rain, all depending on the film’s storyline…

 There was a balloon clown who entertain the kids, and there was the very fun zorb ball that gave participants loads of fun.

 There was a little flea market there as well as some pretty interesting and mouthwatering food served up at the food stalls as well as neck & shoulders or foot massage performed by blind masseurs whose hands really work wonders on any aches and pains.  I missed out on that as there was a long waiting line and my husband and I had to head over to a relative's wedding after this...

I wonder if I can convince hubby to perhaps look into one of these gorgeous homes for our retirement......*wink wink...
