Getting Weird with Little Mix in Kuala Lumpur

My mini me and I were at KL Live on Saturday night to watch Little Mix, one of UK’s biggest girl group organized by Fat Boys Malaysia, with the main sponsor, Tune Talk - the country’s fastest growing mobile prepaid service with supporting partners – Official Music Channel,

MTV & Official Radio, Hitz FM!! 

My daughter is a huge fan too and when she learn of the fact that I might be going to the concert, she demanded to come along and so she got lucky....

Little Mix was in town for the first time ever for their Southeast Asian region, The Get Weird Tour. 

Before they made their appearance, we were entertained by Daiyan Trisha. The crowd at the concert was also pretty amazing and LOUD......

When the band, consisting of Jade Thirlwall, 23, Perrie Edwards, 22, Leigh-Anne Pinnock, 24, and

Jesy Nelson, 25, who were the winners from the series of The X Factor finally made their appearance, the crowd was screaming loud enough to break ear drums....

 They began their show with their song 'Grown'  and ended the performance with their very first single "Black Magic"

"Tonight is all about you, so let your hair down and have fun!," Perrie said, just before the girls began their catchy second song, "Move"

These ladies have been the recipients of both a Cosmo Ultimate Woman Award and a Glamour Women Of The Year Award.

Everyone has listened to the Secret Love Song is which is getting plenty air plays over our local radio… and it's definitely not a secret that this song is one of the most loved songs by the Little Mix fans.

 

 The girls got the fans to get out their phones and turn on the torch to wave it in the air... (yup, the same like the recent Gimme, gimme ABBA concert when they sand Fernando...) 

I heard that tickets for Rock Zone (RM218) & Chill Out Zone (RM188) were sold out, gathering a total of 3000 Mixers around town to party the night away with their favourite girl group. 

There were also 30 lucky Mixers got to meet the girls in a meet & greet session before the show. My mini me and I are so jelly  (jealous).....

 

Jesy hurt her foot midway in the performance and some people noticed her limping towards the backstage, she said to be taken to the hospital immediately for medical assistance. 

However, despite Jesy’s absence, the other three girls continued to give the audience an amazing performance. 

The girls described “Get Weird” as “a celebration of being unique and not holding back” which is most evident in the song that helps them embrace their “inner weirdness”, Weird People.

 

It was a great performance, charismatic, full of energy and great vocals and everyone present definitely enjoyed themselves that night...

Thanks to Fat Boys Malaysia and Tune Talk for bringing them down and giving both my daughter and I this opportunity to come close and witness this awesome girls with out own eyes....
