When fast food becomes so fashionable...

Almost everyone in the world knows McDonald’s. It is after all one of the most iconic brands in the world with over 36,000 locations serving approximately 69 million customers in over 100 countries each day. 

McDonald’s opened its door here in Malaysia back in 1982 and instantly became a local favourite. With over 30 years presence in Malaysia, McDonald’s continue introducing new concepts to captivate and fascinate Malaysians through its restaurants nationwide.

So with that, everyone would have their very own McDonald’s moments and mine came before and also during the McDonald's Media and Blogger Appreciation Night held at the McDonald's Drive Thru in Mutiara Damansara/ the one right next to KidZania KL... 

McDonald’s took the opportunity to present a whole new and fun experience by giving their iconic chicken burgers an Instagram-worthy makeover for that one night only.... and well, I can tell you I never knew chicken burgers could be so super fashionable...or pretty... LOL 

The cute and bubbly Azura Zainal was our host for the evening...

And entertained with Jazz music by the Urban Tribes...

Those irresistible McDonald's iconic chicken burgers turned into adorable mini gourmet burgers....Each is marked with a coloured flag.. The White for McChicken, the Red for Spicy Chicken McDeluxe and the Black for GCB

The evening continued with the dapper looking Azmir Jaafar, Managing Director, McDonald’s Malaysia giving his speech and reintroducing what McDonald's is all about ... 

And so, let's reintroduce..... ‘Yang Klasik’!

One of the earliest burgers to be introduced, Malaysia’s bestselling burger McChicken is known as the classic because it represents the brand. The famous burger is best known for its chicken patty, shredded lettuce, toasted bun and mayonnaise and sells about 65k per day in McDonald's Malaysia!!!

Then there is the fiery ‘Yang Hangat’!

Another popular burger that is known as the Spicy Chicken McDeluxe which is a fan favorite. Everyone’s favourite fiery chicken burger is made out of 100% chicken breast meat, shredded lettuce and toasted bun that is deliciously mouthwatering and irresistible. 

Last and not least..... my favourite.... ‘Yang Gempak!’

Remember the Grilled Chicken Burger? Which is also known as (GCB)? All of us fans of this used-to-be famous seasonal burger was thrilled to know that McDonald’s Grilled Chicken Burger was made permanent on the menu because of its popularity. For someone who prefers a more unique burger from McDonald’s, the GCB would be it because it is made of whole tender chicken that is grilled to perfection, paired with char-grilled sauce and lettuce sandwiched in between two golden, warm and freshly toasted sesame seeds buns. It is such a healthy and yummy option... at least it is for me!!!  It is my favorite Chicken Burger ever!!!
