Motherhood is
beautiful. At long last, you have a child of your own... (never mind if he/she
is born from your own womb or adopted....) Once you hold that
baby/child in your arms for the first time and realize the weight of your
responsibility, worry will bubble up as a natural by-product.
Here is sharing half
a dozen of the worries moms will tend to have will be...
Where is the money
for “that” going to come from? It seems like every time I turn around I’m
having to spend money for something. And your child seems to want more then you
expect or are prepared to give him/her.
What are the chances my kid will catch that virus going around? I am sure almost all moms will have this one every time we hear or read about some virus going about. Even if they live a thousand miles away.
Did he/she pass his/her spelling test? Math test? Science
test? School is another big worry for moms. We all want our kids to be successful and do well, and we are also constantly worried if they are struggling or under too much pressure.
Is my child getting bullied by other people? My heart breaks
thinking of my child playing alone but I also worried about her being bullied. A school is always a chance making lots of new friends, but there is also the possibility for conflict and loneliness, and getting pushed aside if you don't impress the other kids. My daughter came back complaining her schoolmate went around pushing and pinching people... And nowadays, it is obvious that even primary or pre school kids are no longer as sweet and innocent as before and they
can be pretty vicious as well...
When are kids old enough to stay alone? There will come a
time when they are going to want to do it before you are ready to let them. So how can we really know when they are ready? I am all ready for leaving my daughter at home, but my husband does not... he is still too worried but I have
to admit I have my own set of worries too...
Do my kids know how much I love them? No. The answer is no they do not, as most of them take things for granted. But one day when they have kids they will....
So, tell me, what are the things you worry about?
