Superfood Cafe.....

Eating healthy food has never been so much fun and yummy!! To be honest, I am not much of a healthy food eater. To me, taste is very much more important then nutrition or health benefits, and yes, I am the one who will rush to the desserts corner of the buffet table and so when I was invited over to goodness greens cafe, I was wondering what was I going to eat and if I was going to be able to finish it.... LOL

And naturally, I was to be proven wrong.....

 Dining out can be quite a challenge in Malaysia if you want to stay healthy because, face it, almost everywhere serves over processed food with too much salt, too much sugar, too much oil etc...

But now with the presence of goodness greens cafe, we can achieve a healthy lifestyle without compromising on the food taste. The people at goodness greens cafe are on a big mission to ensure people get their message loud and clear that fresh food is naturally the best...

goodness greens cafe is one of the first to introduce superfood smoothie bowl & vegan soups in Malaysia! 

Located in TTDI where beautiful cafes are located, the goodness greens café brings a totally different vibe towards the community area to drop by for their deliciously healthy breakfast, lunch and dinner from 9:00 AM – 9:00 PM on weekdays and 8:00AM to 9:00PM on weekends. 

Parents will find this place very kid friendly...with an adorable corner there filled with children's furniture and toys all exclusively from Ikea...

So mommies and daddies, you can just sit back and unwind as your kids preoccupy themselves with their own mini playground there....

Coffee & Tea 

For those who would like to unwind after a long day at work, drop by goodness green cafe to check out their unique blends from their very own La Juiceria’s recipes. They are the first to serve vegan latte (Vatté) which consists of an espresso shot and Almond Mylk. The coffees are paired with chlorophyll water for a quick boost of hydration.

 For a quick pick-me-up, you should try their Ginger rose tea that includes their “Vital Shot” PowerShot! A beautiful blend of sweet and spicy served in a beautiful pot. Another special tea blend is the Power Peppermint which includes their “Defender” PowerShot, a great drink to pair up to ease stomach discomfort if you get a little excited trying all the food in the menu. 

   

Superfoods Snacks 

Some people need comfort food once in a while. It’s okay to indulge yourselves as long as you can keep the ratio low. 

That’s why goodness greens cafe prepare their granola from scratch to pair up with their Almond Mylk and fresh fruits for those who love cereal in the morning. They use natural sweetener from agave nectar to sweeten it up. Many of us know conventional boxed cereals are usually loaded with processed sugar which can leave us with a sugar crash. With goodness greens cafe granola bowl, we will be fueled throughout the day thanks to fresh ingredients. 

Forget salsa dip, try superfood spinach dip instead (RM13.90)! Great to eat with family and friends who need a dose of comfort food thanks to mozzarella and crispy baguette. I did try it out and I really loved it to bits!!!!  It has got to be a must try!!!!

Cold-Pressed Juices 

goodness greens cafe serves La Juiceria's nutrient-rich cold-pressed juices which are served in a bucket of ice to allow dine-in customers to enjoy it chilled while having their meal. 

If you pair it up with their custom salad and you can enjoy 50% off for their juices ( valid until January 30th, 2016)  goodness greens café is the 13th Detox Bar for La Juiceria so you can quite expect the same service as from their other outlets.

Since I was having a flu, I was recommended the Gold Glow (RM12.99), made from cold pressed orange, tumeric root, celery, carrot, pineapple... This is an anti inflammatory drink which can helps digestion and fight cancer as well...

Super Soups 

The soups are plant-powered and lovingly made from scratch. It ranges from green zucchini, pumpkin, carrot with rosemary and mushroom. 

These soups are perfect for those who wish to find alternative from dairy as goodness greens cafe uses Almond Mylk to make the soups creamy. It doesn’t stop there; they provide 2 slices of garlic bread to dip with your creamy vegetable soup. 

Perfect for appetizers before your main meal. Toddlers can definitely enjoy these soups too! 

I for one really loved my pumpkin soup (RM9.90)...

The order list....where you can take the time to choose your salad size, and what you want in it....The salad come in 3 sizes... Petit , consisting of 1 base, 4 mains, 1 supplementary and 1 dressing....

Medium, consisting of 1 base, 5 mains, 2 supplementary and 1 dressing....  and Grand, consisting of 1 base, 5 mains, 2 supplementary, 1 prime and 1 dressing

Customizable Salads 

It does not matter if you prefer a bed of greens or bowl of rice with vegetables, the choice is unlimitless with the wide range of goodness greens cafe customizable salad. Eating clean has never been so fun!  Everybody needs a rainbow of nutrients from variety of food classification. 

You can even find useful nutritional information next to all that super healthy ingredients so you can feel great knowing that you’ve provided your body with much needed nutrients. For super immunity, load in with their superfoods toppings! Go ahead and be in charge with your meal.

I got pretty much into ordering all the interesting sounding items I went all the way with the Grand helping (RM23.90)... 

For base, I ordered the Romaine Lettuce, then for my 5 mains, I ordered cherry tomatoes, edamame, roasted baby potatoes, grilled mushrooms and steamed brocolli....

My 2 supplementaries consisted of goji berries and beef bacon bits and my prime was smoked duck breast.... and I topped it with a maple balsamic vinaigrette.....

Smoothie Bowls

 Smoothie bowls are a great way to drink your smoothie in the morning, in style. There’s nothing more satisfying to know that you are feeding your body with micronutrients in a bowl to start your day. Not to mention how great your day is once you have a lovely big bowl of vibrant colors to start. goodness greens cafe is the first in Malaysia to introduce smoothie bowls full of superfoods! 

I know I just could not resist ordering myself an Açai berry bowl (RM24.00) which is a type of superfood loaded with antioxidants. The smoothie bowls are topped off with delicious desiccated coconuts, and more superfoods such as chia seeds, cacao nibs, bee pollen and fresh fruits. 

This smoothie bowl is highly recommended for breakfast as it is nutritionally dense and it can keep you full until lunch time...

My verdict??? I have never imagine eating healthy can be so tasty and so much fun... it is a great experience and I so want to do it again!!!! 4 1/2 out of 5 stars!!!!
