Step into the Centre Court of the Curve and you will be entering a very charming garden with graceful purple bamboo plants and red Chinese lanterns that enhances the pretty traditional Chinese garden landscaping....
As you are transported to this beautiful serene and exotic garden, you will be mesmerized by the stunning performances that await you there....
Like I mentioned before in my post about the Stars of the Orient, the show is simply not -to-be missed!!! The Curve has brought down amazing acrobats all the way for Shanghai, China and they will definitely be wow-ing you with their amazing talents....
Anyway, we were there to watch the Master of Masks who can change his / her mask several times during the entire performance.... to be honest, this is interesting only to the kids or if you have not watched this before as I think the performer is just mediocre.
Personally, I would give this a miss as I have watched much better ones many times elsewhere.....
Right after the Master of Masks had finished their performance, en Jazmi Kamarudin, the General Manager of the Curve took to the stage to officially launch the Chinese New Year event.
" At the Curve, our customers are our main priority and we strive to create a pleasing environment for them to enjoy. With the impressive acrobatic performance by the professional troop we have brought all the way from Shanghai, this Chinese New Year will truly be an experience to remember. We hope that our visitors wil be blown away by the performance we have planned this festive season at the Curve"
And you really do not want to miss out on this amazing spectacle.. it is really good....
Showcasing remarkable balancing skills, the acrobatic plate spinning act will have onlookers at the edge of their seats..
This lovely and elegant aerialist, suspended 45 feet in the air by just a simple, smooth silk fabric, will also leave spectators in total awe.....
Audiences will be amazed beyond belief by these gorgeous and lithe contortionists, who can bend, twist and mould their bodies into shapes beyond our comprehension...
The hula hoop girl starts her performance with a seemingly simple routine ....
and ends up part of a slinky ring.......hehee
And you really would not want to miss these amazing acrobatic ballet couple......
Their death defying stunts can make you forget to breathe as you watch them work together to amaze you......
The magnificent acrobatic performance will be accompanied by the live dance musical show that will also enthrall and delight you....
Kids will probably love the Junior Oriental Troupe in action, as well as the chance to try out their own talents in the Oriental Arts and Crafts workshop.
Do not forget to catch the acrobatic lion dance performances that will be taking place at the Centre Court or at the Piazza. The Chinese Ensemble and Melodies of the Orient, a 3-piece and 8-piece mini -orchestra instrumental performance will capture visitors with renditions of classic tunes using traditional Chinese instruments such as the erhu, pipa and guzheng....
