TRIKSTARS leaves audiences spellbound at Premiere Night

When I first heard about TRIKSTARS, I just knew I had to watch it come hell or high water.. I do not know about you but well, magic shows thrill me, especially those from Las Vegas , the entertainment capital of the world where everyone knows the best entertainers gather together, not forgetting Europe who has their fair share of pretty amazing performers...

Anyway, the first ever TRIKSTARS - Masters of Trickery made its nail biting debut to over 2000 people yesterday (4th December 2015) at  Sunway Lagoon's Amphitheatre where some of my blogger friends, my little girl and I were also there to enjoy the Premiere night...and we were pretty much quite blown away by the world class magic, illusions, comedy and musical. TRIKSTARS -Masters of Trickery is now happening from 5 December – 20 December 2015.

The show featured internationally acclaimed magicians and illusionists who enthralled us all throughout the 2 hour long show that had a combination of entertaining 3 D effects. awesome stage props as well as breathtaking pyro techniques second to none...

This production was brought to Sunway Lagoon by internationally renowned theatrical impresarios, Dion and Randall International – they brought together five great magicians and illusionist all across Las Vegas and Europe for this spectacular performance along with two amazing entertainers....

Amongst the many talents that Dion and Randall International scouted in Las Vegas, one of them was The Wizardry of Phelston Jones, a great magician that captivates audiences with magic and comedy as he playfully picks on the audience to produce mesmerizing one-of a kind illusions.

A blogger friend became his unwitting 'victim' as he pulled out a pretty pink bra from this blogger friend's t shirt....

We also got to meet the infamous Sylvester the Jester, an American magician, best known for acting as a cartoon character who comes to life...

He definitely looked like a cartoon character and his tricks were pretty hilarious and set the audiences laughing... at least until the last one... where he blew his own head off...which half shocked the younger kids..

Then there was the King Charles Troupe, a group of young men who play an unbelievable game of high-energy basketball on unicycles in a “Razzle Dazzle” style – a magnificent display of one-wheeled wonderment as they dribble, pass, shoot, and weave their way through the world’s wittiest, wackiest game of basketball!

Dang, they can even jump on skipping ropes while on their unicycles....

All the way from Netherlands, TRIKSTARS brought the World Champions of Magic and winners of numerous highly coveted Magic Awards, Magus Utopia who introduced a darker edge to the show  with Nightmares – a new era of Magic with a unique combination of storytelling, strong visual and magic.

Then you will be wowed by Sebastian & Kristina from Hungary, a multi prestigious award winning elite artistry for the art of dance & magical transformations. 

I seriously cannot believe how fast they change their clothes... it all happens in less then 15 seconds...!!!

And when the glitter clears, she is in a new outfit!!!I am sure many men wish their girlfriends or wives can change clothes this fast... LOL

Meet the 'Coolest Magician on the Planet' Rudy Colby who was definitely entertaining and quite a treat for the audience though giving a member of the media an 'eeuwy' moment of her life since he asked her to sign her name on a nail and proceeded to 'hammer' the nail into his nose, then pulled it out again and give it to her...LOL

Ok... how did he end up with four legs.....

  And of course, you really should not forget the gorgeous J'aime Holland who entertained with her perfect rendition of hit songs paired with elaborate and amazingly gorgeous costumes for herself as well as her back up dancers....

There you have it.. it's school holidays and if you are not bringing the kids for a vacation , why not bring them here to entertain them with a spectacular show of illusion, colours and thrills , one they will not forget....

Or well, come watch it with your friends, boyfriends/girlfriends or even family members....

There were also some local celebrities who were among those in attendance for this Premiere night such as Sasha Saidin, Farah Nadia, Brandon Ho, Muhammad Haslam , Wayne Chai , local rock band - An Honest Mistake and several others.... 

My feelings /verdict? It was definitely an amazing journey of fantasy weaved where I got two full hours of laughter and being mesmerized by these amazing performers while spending some time with my little daughter who enjoyed herself tremendously and some friends who were there...A definite short great escapism from the harsh reality of life ...

And thanks to Sunway Lagoon for having me and my little daughter there...

This extravagant two-hour performance will be wowing audiences of all ages with 14 shows running every Wednesday to Monday from 5 to 20 December 2015 at 7.30pm.
