Golden Sea Whelk "Yee Sang" |
We got to toss the Yee Sang and wished for all the good things the coming Chinese New Year will bring us.....the combination of the Yee Sang was delicious...
Double Boiled Chicken Soup with Dried Scallop and Mushroom |
I did enjoy the chicken soup with tender meat, mushrooms and scallops
Roasted Crispy Chicken Infused with Five Spices and Garlic |
This roasted chicken had very crispy skin and succulently tender inside, fragrant and well seasoned. I seldom like to eat too much chicken during an 8 or 9 course meal but I found myself unable to stop eating this chicken....
Steamed River High Fin Patin Fish with Ginger and Chili Sauce |
I love steamed fish.. and this Patin fish was just sumptuous in it's soy sauce ... and just as fragrant...
Pan-Fried Tiger Prawns with Special Honey Marmite Sauce |
The prawns are also pretty good... and my daughter who accompanied me loved it...
Braised Stuffed Beancurd Roll and Black Mushroom with Seasonal Vegetable |
Love the braised stuffed beancurd which was I think stuffed with minced chicken.. or fishball... I cannot decide... but it was flavorful and complimented the dish pretty well... However, there were some of us who were expecting brocolli, so we were slightly disappointed by the Kai Lan... but it did not make the dish less good...
Claypot Rice with Diced Chicken and Yam |
Deep Fried Chinese New Year Dumpling |
The dessert is quite delicious and a unique combination and I did like it....
Sweetened Kiwi with Sago |
