So if you have been following my blog posts and Facebook page, I have been flooding it with cuteness overload from the Sanrio Hello Kitty Town and the new attraction, Hello Kitty in Oz... so, the question everyone who hasn't been there will ask...
Where to stay??? Where else but Hotel Jen.....come and check it out with me... let me bring you on a mini tour of my experience staying there....
Hotel Jen Puteri Harbour, (formerly known as the Trader’s
Hotel) is located in Nusajaya. It is just approximately 20 minutes from Johor
Bahru town and is easily accessible via land or water transport from Puteri
Harbour International Ferry Terminal.
Senai International Airport is a 20-minute drive away and
Singapore Changi Airport is only 60 minutes away!!!! And well, Legoland is just a 10 minute
shuttle bus ride away too!!
And the Sanrio Hello Kitty Town/ Little Big Club? It is your
neighbour!! It is just right next door… just a few steps away!!!
This is my second time there and I fell in love the reception area when I first saw it, and the feeling still remains unchanged on my second visit here... which is very contemporary but also seem to make me think of an underwater world and it is pretty soothing....
The receptionist are all very friendly and have ready smiles for you when you approach them even if just for a photo....hehehe
There is a very comfortable lounge area where you can meet up with your friends or just sit around to wait for the receptionist to get your room ready...should you arrive early...
If you have just arrived, and feeling parched, head over to the side of the reception. There are infused water,ice lemon tea there for you -self serviced though.....I did so love the Jen's infused water... it was really refreshing coming in from the hot day!!!
My room was on the third floor...and this was the corridor....
When it comes to staying over, Hotel Jen is all about simple
pleasures . You can be sure to look forward to crisp, comfy beds, natural light, a good shower (both hand held as well as rain shower) and fast, free
WiFi (I absolutely LOVE the WiFi.... can even download one or two torrents).

| I love the bed and I love the very comfy pillows even more... but... maybe one tiny complain.... the bed has wheels that make it run all over the place... (almost) whenever you bump into it... or maybe I am the one at fault for being clumsy... |

The pool area in Hotel Jen is just heavenly... it is on the 4th floor of the building....and overlooks the Puteri Harbour yacht marina...
There are three different pools there... a dipping pool, a Jacuzzi type pool with nice warm water and a small infinity pool....

Hotel Jen know that good food makes a great trip that much
better. So you can be sure to get amazing delicious food here at the Harbour Cafe.
It was Halloween even when I was there thus all the spooky decorations but I really thought it was just so charming....
And let Mr Pocong here who is bloodied all over show you to your seat........
I was lucky to be able to indulge myself at the very scrumptious and well spread Seafood Buffet Dinner.....there was just so much to choose from...

| Ok, this is a little upside down, but well, here is a DIY station so go ahead and make your own fruit rojak, pietee or even caeser salad..... |
I am not posting pictures from my breakfast here but if you want to see the pictures, check out my FACEBOOK PAGE HERE... Breakfast was very generous spread, as expected from all Hotel Jen and Shangri-la Hotels. You can find fruits purée for adults and toddlers. A wide array of freshly squeezed fruit and vegetable juices.
Running out of battery for your mobile? There is even a charging station for your smartphones!!!

As I mentioned earlier, the Sanrio Hello Kitty Town is just a few steps away, it is right next door to the hotel and 300 metres from the back entrance of the hotel....
Need some TLC? Do check out the health club there and go ahead and indulge in some of the massages offered there.... I for one loved the ambience of the place... so pretty and relaxing...
For gym bunnies and fitness fans, there is a lovely gym there too to work out and you can enjoy the glorious view of the marina while at it.....
You can also lounge around at the pool side and admire the glorious scenery...

DeleteI love my room too. Jacuzzi is Little Angels' favourite place. Hopefully will go there with family by end of this year for school holiday.
