LANEIGE is absolutely one of my top 5 favourite brands I cannot live without... and as a woman, I love cute stuff and so when I learn about the Laneige meets Fashion collaboration, I was delighted... two of my favourite things packaged as one, now how can a woman like me resist....

Splashing fun at the Beijing Aquarium...

When I saw the outside of the Beijing Aquarium after stumbling upon it right after the zoo, I was curious and wanted to check it out.. it seemed huge and interesting... and yours truly is an animal lover... and even more... I love the mammals of the ocean.... dolphins and killer whales/orcas...

I asked my daughter to check the tickets and it was a whooping RMB150 to go in and I faltered.... it was too much money to pay... gulp...

Love All this Merdeka....

Our country is celebrating its 58th year of Independence this coming Monday with the theme #sehatisejiwa (one heart, one spirit) and and though I must say I am happy our country has gotten this far, there are so many issues that make me sad.



Oh no its not just the government, as I am a neutral party and I believe that every political party has its share of good, honest people and its share of dishonest politicians as well. We are all humans and everyone has their mistakes, and weaknesses.

Malaysia IT Fair 2015

So earlier today, I was at the Mid Valley Exhibition Centre as early as 9am... but, to my utmost surprise, the area was already quite crowded with people queuing up for the special offers.

Yeah, you got it, the Malaysia IT Fair (MITF) which is organized by Unified Distribution Technology Sdn Bhd (UDT) is back and will be on until the 31st August 2015!!

The MITF is known to be the leading and most attended IT Exhibition in Malaysia is also launching the highly anticipated  TECHBIZ @Malaysia IT Fair as well.

DO NOT MISS this Really Syok campaign.....

Yours truly was at the D'Italiane at Paradigm Mall to check out this really Syok campaign... and I tell you, really do not want to miss out on this.... because that would be just like missing out on fabulous things....

It is really THAT exciting.. and so amazing I cannot even believe my eyes and ears... 

The White Sensation Party of the year....

Yours truly here was fortunate to be one of the invited to the  Magnum Sensation in White Party to witness the launch of the latest temptation Magnum came out with, the beautiful snow white... errmm, I mean the Magnum White Almond....

The Magnum White Almond made its presence known in Malaysia by throwing a truly exclusive and premium party. The party was held at the ballroom of the swanky Hilton Kuala Lumpur....and everyone was dressed in white or at least something white and wonderful.....

Oh My Goat- Come Baaack!!

I was at Kampung Dalam Ayer to check out the new upcoming 'kampung' adventure by Oh My English! (OME!), Oh My Goat - Come Baaack....thanks to Mawardi Yunus 

When I entered the area, I was welcomed by lush foliage and the soothing sounds of small waterfalls that make me realize and marvel at the wonder of nature all over again...

Ok, maybe not so Kampung Dalam Ayer... heheh, this place is actually the Subak Restaurant at Bukit Lanjan which was built on the fringe of the natural virgin forest there....It is definitely out of the way from the hustle and bustle of town , the atmosphere and ambience is so tranquil it is definitely a haven...

Fashion can be pretty intimidating to many people. Some people feel they do not have what it takes to pull off wearing clothes that they see other people wearing all the time.

So you can see, looking good is not easy. And while fashion should be fun, sometimes shopping can be a daunting chore. It has happened to me.

One of the perks of being a blogger is never getting a shortage of good food to enjoy. And believe me there are just so many heavenly and delicious dishes to savour so that you can share with your friends and readers. I must admit that even if I wasn't a hard core food blogger, going around to some of these lovely food outlets, cafes or restaurants can be pretty fun and there is just so much to discover...and so much photos to take.. 

Tween dramas....

I have a tween. A little girl who has so many multiple personalities that she beats Dr Jekyll and Mr Hyde hands down.. You can never tell which of her personality would be popping out...In my opinion, and I am sure many parents can attest to, a tween's  multiple personalities can range anywhere from 1 year old up 60 years old, some times so much so I find myself getting confused as if who is the mother and who is the child... LOL…

Let's take into count some of the personalities my sometimes sweet, sometimes horrid daughter has in her....She is 11 years old on her way to becoming 12, exactly like Britney Spear's song... "Not a girl, not yet a woman.."

I had been wanting a new look, something slightly different 

from the boring browns or reds which I have always been 

used to and so I dropped by one of my favorite salon Daisuke

 Salon De Coiffure, a Japanese Salon run by Daisuke Suzuki

 and his lovely wife Ai  , which was  located at the 3 Two 

Square in Petaling Jaya. 

Stepping in to the salon was just like visiting a close friend

because of the warmth and friendliness by the staff , Ai and 

Daisuke.

A tween is a child somewhere between the ages of 8 or 9 and 12. A tween considers herself no longer a little child, but she is not quite a teenager. 

I have a tween at home who has multiple personalities she can beat Jekyll and Hyde hands down.... And well, as far as watching TV goes, she watches every thing from Disney Junior Channels , Nickelodeon Channels to my Chinese and Korean costume drama series.....

I am glad to share with you out there who have tweens like mine that Nickelodeon is going to air a pretty awesome series for your tweens.....and while they are at that, I think I am going to be watching it with my tween as well... hehehe....

It was an amazing feast for the senses... sight, scent and taste when I stepped off the escalator onto the 7th floor of the Pavilion Kuala Lumpur, designated as a Dining Loft. The area had been turned into a little food court with pretty tables in gingham table cloth and food stalls ...

AirAsia Runway Ready Designer Search 2015 winners revealed on KL Fashion Week Runway

..... and for the first time ever, thanks to the AirAsia Bloggers Community (AABC), yours truly was there at the Pavilion KL where the entire centre concourse had been cordoned off and transformed into an elegant fashion runway, especially for the Kuala Lumpur Fashion Week 2015...

We were of course welcomed by the oh-so-lovely AirAsia stewardesses from different countries, including Philippines and Thailand..

Asian Battleground 2015 Champion

Asian Battleground 2015 finally came to an end last week with Japanese Team, “Beat Soldier Strong” being named the winner for the 2nd Asian Battleground competition. 

The group was actually consisted of the youngest crews compared to the other teams. The average age of their team members was 15 years old!

So recently when I was on the AirAsia Penang Takeover trip, we were given a chance to stay at a brand new hotel. The name of the hotel was Olive Tree Hotel.

'Hitman' David Foster is AirAsia's new global ambassador

So yours truly was there at the Majestic Hotel yesterday with bated breath.. After receiving my invite from the AABC team, we suspected that David Foster was the new global ambassador for AirAsia's premium products.. but what I was not sure was if we could actually actually meet him..Heaven knows the PR has been dodging our questions easily enough.... sighhh...

However the media turnout was massive.. and it seems that they smelled blood... hehehe... David Foster's blood.. hahaha.. just kidding...

Be a kid again with KidZania's Back2Kidz day!!!

Now that we have grown up or grown older, have you ever contemplated how it feels like being a kid again? Or perhaps you might have brought your children to KidZania before and wondered how it was when you were their age playing make believe.. I know I did... I often wondered how it was to be a Pilot or a Lawyer.. being a Lawyer was one of my childhood ambition, then I wondered how it was to be a reporter... and well, last weekend, my dream came true... hehehe

KidZania has come out with a their rare signature event Back-2-Kidz for us grown ups to take a few hours off our busy, mundane , crazy life to step back into the past and pretend to be a kid again...

My youngest daughter and I were at Petrosains, The Discovery Centre yesterday to be the first few to watch the preview of Miles from Tomorrowland. 

It was a fun filled event as parents and kids got to cuddle down on big, colourful, fluffy beanbags while watching 4 exciting episodes of Miles from Tomorrowland. Some of the guests were also happily munching away on the snacks provided which consisted of nuggets, cocktail sausages, sugared donuts, pastries and freshly cut fruits...
