The unique thing about Sapporo is that there is a different festival ongoing every season. The snow festival in winter, the beer garden in summer, the Autumn Fest in autumn etc. The weather is said to be perfect. It gets hot, but it's dry, unlike most parts of Japan, and in winter it gets cold, but not too cold, just cold enough to have nice fluffy snow and a good down jacket is good enough to keep yourself warm...

Ramen in miso soup is another very popular dish here also you should try if and when you are in Hokkaido....you can never find fresher tasting Ramen then here at Hokkaido...

Hokkaido's country side and mountains are only a short train or car ride away. You can even see the  view of the mountains from the centre of town!

Take a tram to Moiwa mountain and view the beautiful city at night from the top. Rent a car and head to Niseko to hike Mount Yotei (Hokkaido`s Mount Fuji). Go camping and rafting in the summer. Whatever is your favorite activity, there is something for you and your family and friends to do here in Hokkaido....
