UP-CLOSE AND PERSONAL WITH THE MASTERMIND OF LUMIAIR!

Cirque is a type of performing art which a story is told through traditional circus skills. Compared with the traditional circuses of the past, Cirque performances tends to focus on the overall aesthetic impact, on character and story development, and on the use of lighting design, music, and amazingly attractive costumes to delight audience's senses. It is however just as colourful, exciting and just as nail biting as a regular circus.

Prepare to be mesmerized and tantalized, as this year-end, Sunway Lagoon has a treat for just about everyone, family and friends, when its Amphitheatre will come alive with LumiAir – A Cirque Extraordinaire.

lt will be held for the first time in Malaysia, and the production is a must-attend show which features something for everyone including grand cirque style sequences using big apparatus for spectacular tricks in the air and drama with breathtaking acrobatic ballet scenes that touch the soul. The show is also set to captivate audience with scenes featuring lighting and magical illusions and intertwined with humourous breaks by the performers, all set to make an unforgettable experience for everyone.

The extravagant two-hour production is set to wow audiences of all ages with an extraordinary cast of cirque characters, beautiful dancers and breathtaking acrobatic performances brought to life in an illusion of colour and vibrant energy, complemented by brilliant costumes, stunning scenery and state-of-the-art production – a unique treat for the senses unlike any other.

LumiAir – Cirque Extraordinaire is produced by Susan Porett, who carries with her 20 years of experience in all forms of live shows and theatre entertainment. Her incredible knowledge of the industry comes from years of travelling the world as both performer and producer.

Anthony Ikin, choreographer

Choreographing the entire production is current World Aerobics champion, Anthony Ikin, whose extensive experience ranges from soloist at Paris’ Moulin Rouge, to being a choreographic consultant for Gymnastics Australia.

For LumiAir, Anthony will combine his expertise with Daniella Winter, a past choreographer for Australia’s Got Talent to truly make for a spectacular performance.

LumiAir will run every Tuesday to Sunday from 29 November to 24 December at 7.30pm.
