UNIQLO today announces the
launch of a kids’ line developed in collaboration with fashion brand UNDERCOVER.
UNDERCOVER is a brand by quirky Japanese designer Jun Takahashi and his designs are pretty interesting as you can see....
From 2014 Fall Winter, UNIQLO
is greatly expanding both the number of items and store availability for its
kids and babies line. As part of this, UNIQLO has brought back the “UU” kids’
line, an extremely popular collaboration with UNDERCOVER, first launched in
2012. Designed as “Clothes that let kids be kids, clothes for children around
the world to enjoy wearing,” it combines UNIQLO’s high-quality basics with
UNDERCOVER’s street-inspired high-end fashion. The collection will be available
at UNIQLO stores across Japan, and most of UNIQLO’s markets worldwide.
The first “UU” collaboration between UNIQLO and UNDERCOVER launched in Winter
2012, for babies, kids, women, and men, for a new style of family fashion. The
babies and kids’ line was particularly popular, with many parents asking for
more fun colors and prints, incorporating the type of special details not
typically found in kids’ clothes. UNIQLO listened, and is bringing back the
collection, with all-new designs.
The collection for kids
comprises a total of 14 styles in 38 colors and patterns for both boys and girls, centered on fleece. Light, warm, comfortable, and quick-drying, fleece is ideal for active kids. The “UU” Kids collection will be available at UNIQLO’s One Utama and Midvalley Megamall stores. For more information about UNIQLO and its product offerings, please visit http://www.uniqlo.com/my
