Do you like food? If you do, a buffet lunch or dinner is the best place to take your time, and enjoy a good lunch or dinner. At a buffet, you can taste everything on display, so it is always advisable to take a little of everything that catches your fancy and try it. And if you like it, go back for second or third helpings.
Unfortunately, sometimes in Malaysia, there are people who don't really know how to enjoy buffet and take too much and end up not finishing what they took. This is a bad habit and it will show others that you are greedy (sorry yaaa... no offence meant) and because of this, nowadays most buffet restaurants will charge you for wastage if you take too much more then you can eat .
The Royale Chulan’s Warisan Cafe features an open kitchen and buffet dining that highlights the flavours of the world. A buffet is served up for lunch and dinner with a wide selection of Malaysian, Japanese, and Italian specialities, as well as other international cuisines. Guests relish the best regional and cosmopolitan dishes at our Kuala Lumpur accommodation’s cafe, which lets them have a more enjoyable time during their visit to the city.
My little girl and I attended an event organized by Japanese air conditioner company, Daikin, and were invited to enjoy these sumptuous spread at the Warisan Cafe.
As we entered the Warisan Cafe, the first thing that caught my eye was the dessert bar on the left. there were just so many tempting kueh, pudding and dessert. Then there's the salad bar, cold cuts, meats, and Japanese area...
When you walk around the Cafe, you will see even more food.... they really do have a very generous selection here from pasta - choose your own pasta and ingredients and the staff will cook it for you.
They have pizza... two different variants...
Lots of curry and spicy food if you like that....
And you can also opt for fried noodles/or soup noodles - choose your koay teow, mee or bee hoon and the ingredients you want... and the chef will cook it for you...
You find a generous a selection of shell fish here too... bamboo lala, cockles, lala, and mussels
Here is my selection for a fried koay teow before.....
.... and after...
I also had some cold cuts and fish, tauhu and popiah....
And some Japanese selection, tempura prawns, squid and brinjal, sushi, baby octopus, jelly fish and garlic fried rice....not to forget the miso soup (this one reminds me of the time in Tokyo, too when I can also select the ingredients for my Miso soup)
The dessert bar is awfully tempting for a sweet tooth person like me. I can never resist chocolate puddings, strawberry jelly, creme caramel etc... I was so in dessert heaven with this dish....
