Product Review: Shiseido Ma Cherie Moisture Shampoo

Ma Cherie or “My Sweetheart” in French, is a line of hair care by Shiseido that aims to provide individuals with lustrous, soft and silky hair. Ideal for women who desire beautiful hair with a lingering romantic fragrance. The brand was first launched in Japan and is now available exclusive in Guardian Malaysia. Formulated with its signature Champagne Honey Gelee, a combination of champagne, honey and other ingredients to moisturize and soften hair, whilst protecting against harmful free radicals and environmental aggressions.

I noticed the range on the shelves of the Guardian Pharmacy several times and on sniffing the scent, fell in love with it. I had always wanted to try the shampoo but because it was not exactly cheap, I had to postpone owning one until very recently. 

The price is mid range from RM12 for a small travel pack to about less then RM50 for a big  generous bottle of 500ml shampoo or conditioner either in the Moisture range or Air Feel range.

Decided to get my hands on it this time round as it was on sale at a discounted price about RM35 for the 500ml bottle that comes with a pump.

The shampoo I got, from the moisture range offers Deep Hair Repair and Moisture for the dry hair. It is supposed to be very suitable to dry hair type and it will gives a concentrated product care by repairing damages from the inner core to outer part of the hair. This shampoo gives optimum moisturize level of hair and strength to the hair. 

I love the smell of it best. There are not many shampoo smells I really like but this one is definitely a cut above the rest and it smells just so heavenly. The scent is pretty elegant, a mildly floral  fruity combination. 

The bottle is also very feminine and definitely appeals to the girl in me. But that is not it, what I like about it it does indeed makes my hair so much softer, manageable , fragrant and I have no trouble combing my hair as it is less likely to get matted up on the hair brush after using this awesome shampoo. I will definitely be getting a second bottle.
