Meeting the legendary Tun M

I met Tun Mahathir once a couple of years ago and got to salam him at the Mid Valley Megamall when he was there to sign his book. I did not get a chance to get close to him or take a picture with him back then....

I was due to meet Tun Dr Mahathir a couple of weeks ago, again, having won a contest to meet him with another winner at the Borders but the event was postponed indefinitely, because Tun M was apparently not very well and it was somewhat disappointing.

My dream come true...another tick off the bucket list

However, yours truly was very blessed to be able to join the Women Extraordinaire Forum 2014 , it was enlightening, eye opening and definitely full of tips, pointers, ideas and best of all, yours truly realized one of her lifelong dream... take a picture with her no 1 hero/ idol.... the legendary Tun M, and of course, his lovely , graceful wife, Tun Dr Siti Hasmah.


There has never been a more inspiring, and daring Prime Minister or a more graceful and soft spoken First lady, in my opinion.

Or ok, maybe I am biased... I am sure there are a few more out there....

 It was hard getting a personal picture as everyone wanted a picture with him and his bodyguards... you know.. bodyguards, they will be pushing everyone away, gently but firmly... and so when I had the chance, it was a touch and go chance... and I had only one shot on the camera....  and thank God it turned out perfect!!!

I had a chance a couple of months before to take a picture with Dato Lee Chong Wei and the result was terrible and disappointing...

A selfie with this amazing lady, forever so graceful and beautiful and just as inspiring as her husband 

So... of course I have to write a short blog about it to ermmm.. share?? show off? preen??? hehehe.. whatever......

But whatever it is, thank you God (and a few friends-you know who you are) for this amazing opportunity...
