Daikin’s New Urusara 7 Air Conditioner Launched Alongside the R32

Daikin Airconditioning (Malaysia) Sdn Bhd (Daikin Malaysia) has introduced its next generation refrigerant (cooling agent) called the R32, with the purpose to promote green technology. The R32 gas is more friendly to the environment and yet energy efficient compared to conventional refrigerant. The gas has been rolled-out to most of Daikin Malaysia’s new residential air-conditioning products including its flagship model Urusara 7 air conditioner.

Daikin is active in CSR activities and preserving the earth through promoting green technology has always been the major part of it. Daikin was the first company in the world to promote green technology through launching R32 gas in November 2012. Currently, over one million R32 units are already working in Japan.

The R32 refrigerant was developed with zero impact on the ozone layer. It also reduces the Global Warming Potential (GWP) by one third as compared to the conventional refrigerant R410a. R32 has better physical property function as refrigerant which allows smaller charge volume with the same refrigerant performance.

Alongside the launch of the R32 was also the launch of Daikin’s new high-end air conditioner, the Urusara 7. The Urusara 7 satisfies every aspects needed for a luxurious lifestyle. It is the ideal air conditioner with multiple functions and convenient features.

One of the key features of this product is the Streamer Technology. It has an air-purifying function that discharges, irradiates and decomposes mould as well as pollen. This is done with the Photocatalytic Air-Purifying and Deodorising Filter. It effectively removes mould, viruses, allergic substances and harmful chemical substances from the room.

The Urusara 7 achieved very high energy efficient factor (COP) up to 5.7, the highest at the current market. The Double Air Intake technology is able to cool the room more efficiently by drawing double the amount hot air into the air-conditioner. Moreover, Urusara 7 has improved the flow circulation in the room and accurate humidity control for maximum comfort and efficient cooling. All these technologies contributes to the high cooling efficiency of Urusara 7.
