With the Sijil Pelajaran
Malaysia (SPM) examination just around the corner, Astro
Tutor TV SPM will launch a revision mobile app, Tutor TV SPM mobile app, with
the aim in helping SPM candidates prepare for the upcoming public examination.
This app is available to be downloaded for
all iOS and Android users for FREE.
Tutor TV SPM mobile app
is equipped with assessments,
quizzes, topical study notes, mind maps and tutorial videos that allow
students to revise and prepare for the SPM examinations anytime, anywhere. This
App will feature educational content based on the approved syllabus by the
Ministry of Education, Malaysia, for core subjects like Bahasa Melayu, English,
Sejarah and Mathematics.

making the learning fun and entertaining for students. The launch of the Tutor
TV SPM mobile app is seen as an initiative from us in response to helping
students prepare for the SPM examinations.

youths own smartphones. Thus, we feel compelled to create a complete, compact,
attractive and approachable study aide. We mainly
emphasise on interactive measures with interesting visuals and mapping to help users
understand and remember facts effectively
for last minute revisions. We truly hope that our initiatives and efforts will bring
positive feedback and is well accepted by all our users,” she
added.
Users can take
an Assessment on the app, and a list of suggested topics for further revision
will be generated based on their Assessment results. They can then revise on Tutor TV SPM mobile app’s latest
revision notes where they can highlight important
points, as well as add their own notes
which can be saved for future references. In addition, this app also provides
useful tips in answering questions and topics.
In
conjunction with the launch of this app, Astro Tutor TV SPM will organize a
competition with the usage of Tutor TV
SPM Mobile App. The competition will start from 27 September 2014 to 17 October 2014 and will involve Form Five
students all over Malaysia to participate by downloading the app and answer the
Assessments. Students are allowed to complete as many Assessments
as possible to score points during the contest period. The highest cumulative Scorer
of each respective subject over the two weeks will be declared as the winner
and win an iPad each. .
