Fans of Bollywood movies can look forward and enjoy the latest Bollywood movies in HD with the launch of new Astro Box Office (ABO) BollyOne HD. BollyOne HD, Channel 251 will be available from 1st September 2014 to 18th September on a preview basis. Bollywood queen Kajol was the guest of honour at the channel launch at the JW Marriot Hotel last night.
Dr Rajamani Chellamuthu, Senior Vice President , Indian Consumer Business of Astro said, " We are delighted to bring the best of new Bollywood movies especially for Bollywood fans.
ABO BollyOne HD.. latest Bollywood movies will be our value proposition. It will certainly be the best choice and quality entertainment for Bollywood fans which estimates to be around 1.4 million."

Astro BollyOne HD channel will enable Astro customers and Bollywood fans to watch the latest Bollywood titles in High Definition, with full surround sound experience and with the choice of English and Malay subtitles. At launch, 7 new titles, namely
Youngistan, Darr @ The Mall,
Boothnath Returns, O Teri, Holiday, Queen and
Dedh Ishqiya will be screened while for the following month, fans will get to watch
Humshakals, Bobby Jasoos, Kick and
Singham Returns.

Only selected Bollywood movies are being released in Malaysian theatres based on past history. Hence, some of the Bollywood movies will premier on BollyOne HD. Existing HD subscribers can go to Ch200 to subscribe to BollyOne HD for RM5 per month. Other subscribers can call Astro hotline at 03-95433838 to upgrade your set top box and subscribe to BollyOne HD.
BollyOne HD will screen 4 to 5 new movies in a month. Each new release will be screened every Thursday at primetime , 9pm . In addition, this channel will also showcase award shows (whenever available), gossips, latest Bollywood happenings and music video as fillers.
Therefore, subscribers can watch the latest Bollywood movies whenever they want with the family and friends for as often as they like.

Was somewhat disappointed I did not get to take a picture with gorgeous Kajol.. but well, it was not to be.. but it was a great experience seeing her up close and personal.
