Giant Pandas finally here in Malaysia!!!!
The giant pandas, Fuwa and Fengyi finally arrived safely here from China to start a new life in Malaysia for the next 10 years.
They arrived at MAScargo Complex of KL International Airport (KLIA) Airport at 7.53am via a special MAScargo Airbus 330-200 (MH6462) from Chengdu, China.
The Chinese government loaned the pandas to the Zoo Negara for 10 years to mark the 40th anniversary of Malaysia-China diplomatic ties.
Fuwa (male) and Fengyi (female) were then sent to Zoo Negara and will be quarantined for about one month in their new enclosure.
Now Malaysians do not have to travel far to see real life pandas. Fuwa and Fengyi will be at the Zoo Negara.
I for one am excited and can't wait to see them next month or so. My little daughter is also excited about this.. So maybe a trip to Zoo Negara would be timely for her birthday in July...
Come witness Peter Marvey levitate Hannah Tan...

Lord Murugan statue in Batu Caves
Here at Batu Caves, you can find the world's second tallest Hindu diety / the tallest in Malaysia statue of Lord Murugan, an Hindu diety. The giant golden statue stands at 42.7 m (140 ft) high.
The statue, which cost about RM1.36 million , is made of about 1550 cubic metres of concrete, 250 tonnes of steel bars and 300 litres of gold paint brought in from neighbouring Thailand.
FlexiPack a more convenient way to send your packages
It is definitely a cheaper and convenient way to send your packages etc to your penpals and friends...
Take a look at the table. So for swappers or those who like sending packages.. You really have to consider this. It will be within your budget and you can weigh it yourself...
Public Mutual Branch Annual Awards Night
I forgotten to post this. This posting is almost one month too late.. But never mind.. I will post it anyway.
The Public Mutual Branch Annual Award Night is like the company annual dinner but for the fact that only qualifiers are invited and the creme of the branch offices are rewarded with trophies and other prizes.
Our dinner was held at the lovely Some Darby Convention Centre.
Dinner was an 8 course Chinese Dinner affair. I have deleted a lot of pictures an only left these with my friends/colleagues who have been by my side over the years.
Yours truly here is just a qualifier to Ho Chih Minh this year. However, I have sold my ticket and headed elsewhere myself..

Doilily my travel partner....
Meet Doilily... She is my baby girl's doll. She has been with my baby since my baby was a few weeks old. Back then Doilily looked big.
Now Doilily seem to have shrunk because my daughter has grown up.
Doilily is my travelling partner when I go off on my me- time trips on my own or incentive trips.
She has been to Bali, Phuket, Tokyo, Taipei, Indonesia and so on...
Before Doilily, I had a tiny furry bear called Radcliffe who has since retired after Doilily's presence in both my daughter and my life...
Doilily keeps me company and let's me sniff her.. Kind of like sniffing my baby girl since she is practically as old as my baby girl and spends most of her time when not travelling on my baby girl's bed with Teddy and a couple of other favourite soft toys.
Well... Doilily is ready for the next adventure.. And I think I will make her popular also.. Maybe a pic of her in Angkor Wat etc.. Something like what those blue banner people do.. He he he...
(Sorry if it seems silly.. But I only grow old.. Never grow up... Huhuhu)

Ever tried Ibumie's Har Mee?
I have tried these several times and well, I think it does taste a bit like the real thing.
At first I was quite sceptical about it especially seeing the white powder and black soya sauce..
But the result, though not as perfect as the real Har Mee or Penang Prawn Mee is reasonably good. You can add prawns and chicken bits if you like for a more authentic taste.
For me.. My instant noodles is for lazy days.. So I just like it plain.

For your reading pleasure.. A must read story...
Read this story a few times but just the short version.. A friend forwarded this to me via WHATSAPP so am sharing the supposedly extended version... Happy reading!!!
There was a man with four wives. He loved his fourth wife the most and took
a great care of her and gave her the best.
He also loved his third wife
and always wanted to show her off to his friends. However, he was always
had a fear that she might runaway with some other man.
He loved his second
wife too. Whenever he faced some problems, he always turned to his second wife and she would always help him out.
He did not love his first wife
though she loved him deeply, was very loyal to him and took great care of
him.
One day the man fell very ill and knew that he is going to die soon.
He told himself, "I have four wives with me. I will take one of them along
with me when I die to keep company in my death."
Thus, he asked the fourth wife to die along with him and keep company. "No
way!" she replied and walked away without another word.
He asked his third wife. She said "Life is so good over here. I'm going to
remarry when you die".
He then asked his second wife. She said "I'm Sorry. I can't help you this
time around. At the most I can only accompany you til your grave."
By now his heart sank and turned cold.
Then a voice called out: "I'll leave with you. I'll follow you no matter where you go." the man looked up and there was his first wife.
She was so skinny, almost like she suffered from malnutrition. Greatly grieved, the man said, "I should have taken much better care of you while I could have!"
Actually, we all have four wives in our lives.
a. The fourth wife is our body. No matter how much time and effort we lavish in making it look good, it'll leave us when w die.
b. The third wife is our possessions, status and wealth. When we die, they
go to others.
c. the second wife is our family and friends. No matter how close they
had been there for us when we're alive, the furthest they can stay by us is
up to the grave.
d. the first wife is our soul, neglected in our pursuit of material wealth and pleasure. It is actually the only thing that follows us wherever we go.
This is really one of the best stories I have read..
Take chances..
Tell the truth...
Learn to say NO...
Spend money on the things u love..
Laugh till ur stomach hurts...
Dance even if u are too bad at it...
Pose stupidly for photos...
Be child-like...
Moral: Death is not the greatest loss in life..
Loss is when life dies inside u while u are alive....🎊
Celebrate this event called LIFE...
