Sate Kajang Haji Samuri, Taman Melati

 Oh wow.. while googling up Sate Haji Samuri, they even have a wikipedia on it, though just a short one...."Sate Kajang Haji Samuri is a famous Sate Kajang fast-food restaurant chain in Malaysia. The main headquarters is located in  Medan Sate, Kajang, Selangor."

Anyway, this is the branch in Taman Melati, near my house where my mother in law loves to frequent. I am not such a huge fan of sates since a kid as I truly do not know how to appreciate satay sauce and all but I find myself liking the satay here and would have at about 3 sticks when I am here...

 The ambiance... nice huge old fashion pictures made into wall papers bring back nostalgic moments of times gone by and how sate sellers plied their wares all those many years ago...

 the accompaniment...peanut sauce with some sambal and rice cakes aka nasi impit, cucumbers and even some onions (optional but recommended)

 The sates... these are Sate Perut  and Sate Ayam...beef tripe (I think) and chicken...

You can see the sates being burnt at the back of the shop through the glass window. Sometimes the fires are huge!!! At least 400 or more sticks are being burnt at any one time....
